Pasta has a way of bringing people together. It’s a conduit for connection and friendship. And that’s exactly what happened around this long table, in the middle of a durum wheat field.

I was honoured to host this event with @sanremopasta and @leahitsines, a lunch with lovely people, great food and the kind of conversations that remind you why sitting down to eat together is such a beautiful thing. Simple pleasures, yet so important, celebrating a product that has been part of so many Australian family tables for generations. ❤️

𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗜𝗧 & 𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗙𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗜𝗔 🧄🌿

Save this one because it's SO worth the wait.

𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝘁
2 bulbs garlic
1 cup extra virgin olive oil

𝗙𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱
700g bread flour
680g lukewarm water
7g instant yeast
12g fine sea salt
1 tsp honey
60g extra virgin olive oil
12 garlic confit cloves
1 tbsp finely chopped rosemary
1 tsp flaky sea salt

𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗜𝗧
Separate and peel the garlic cloves. Place in an oven-safe dish and completely cover with olive oil. Bake at 250°F for 1–2 hours, until soft and golden. Let cool and save that garlic-infused oil!

𝗙𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗜𝗔 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗
Mix the flour, instant yeast and salt. Add the lukewarm water and honey and mix until a wet, sticky dough forms. Cover and rest for 10 minutes.

With wet hands, stretch one side of the dough up and fold it over itself. Turn the bowl and repeat on all four sides. Cover and rest another 10 minutes, then repeat the stretch-and-fold process until the dough begins to form a ball.

Coat a clean bowl with 20g olive oil, add the dough, cover tightly and refrigerate for 12–72 hours.

When ready to bake, divide the dough in half. (This recipe makes enough dough for 2 focaccias!)

Coat a baking pan with 20g olive oil and add half the dough. Gently stretch it out, cover with a damp cloth and let rise somewhere warm for about 2 hours, or until doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 390°F.

Oil your fingers and dimple the dough. Top with garlic confit, rosemary, flaky sea salt and the remaining olive oil.

Bake for approximately 30 minutes, until beautifully golden. Let cool slightly, transfer to a wire rack and rest for another 15 minutes before slicing.

🧄 TIP: Don't throw away that garlic confit oil — use it on the focaccia!

A message from the Founder. 💌

Hey everyone, just wanted to say a massive thank you on behalf of the Chef Ready team to everyone who attended Thursday’s launch event.

Thank you for coming along and sharing the day with us. It was incredible seeing everyone come together around our shared love of food.

It’s honestly surreal to think that just 18 months ago, Chef Ready was only an idea. To see it become something real after so much hard work and effort from so many people is something I can’t really put into words.

What made Thursday even more special was being able to celebrate that milestone with all of you and finally see the people we’ve been building Chef Ready for in the room.

I’m really excited about the journey ahead. I believe there’s a real opportunity to give creators a platform where their content can be shoppable and, most importantly, where they can be rewarded for the value they create for their communities.

I can’t wait to see what we can build together and the impact Chef Ready can have on creators and their communities.

Thank you again to everyone who attended and everyone who has been part of the journey so far. It genuinely means so much to me and the whole Chef Ready team.

So, thank you. This is just the beginning!❤️
