❤️‍🩹A lovely evening, a beautiful space & a collaboration that feels like the perfect fit 💋 I’m really looking forward to supporting Tropic’s evening at @dagmarastudios on Thursday 10th September with some of my handmade protein balls from Rita’s Kind Kitchen. I love collaborations like this because the values just fit so naturally. Tropic is all about natural, sustainable, vegan skincare — and at Rita’s Kind Kitchen, I’m all about creating delicious food using simple, plant-based ingredients, with no refined sugar. So when you’re bringing together wellbeing, self-care and connection, a little something healthy and delicious to enjoy feels like the perfect addition. And I’m particularly excited to be doing this one in my lovely friend Dagmara’s space. @dagmarastudios is so much more than just a studio — it’s a beautiful, welcoming space designed for bringing people together, and I love seeing it used for evenings like this. Tropic + wellness + good food + a beautiful space + lovely people = my kind of evening! I’ve loved collaborating on yoga, wellness and women’s events over the past year, and I’d really love to do more. So if you’re planning an event and looking for healthy, vegan, feel-good treats for your guests, I’d love to hear from you. And if you fancy joining us on 10th September, you can contact @jenniesawdon or there’s an easy QR code to scan #WellnessEvents #EventCollaboration #VeganTreats #CheshireEvents #tropicevents

MEET THE DESIGNER 🤍 Hi, I’m Sally — the face behind SVE Fashion. I’m 41, a fashion designer, business owner and mum to my gorgeous 8-year-old daughter. Fashion has been my dream for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, I would sit in my room with a sketchbook, drawing designs day and night. Design was my escapism. It still is. Education wasn’t easy for me. I struggled academically and often felt different, but my creative mind was always full of ideas. The system wasn’t made for me. After leaving school, I went to beauty college, where I discovered how much I loved making women feel happy and confident. But deep down, I knew I was meant to do something more. So I travelled to Australia alone. After six months travelling around Oz, I realised exactly what I wanted: I wanted to become a fashion designer. I didn’t know how I was going to make it happen, but I had confidence and I didn’t really understand the word “no”. So I thought… why not? Let’s wing it! 😂 And somehow, it worked. I secured a place on a fashion design course at Salford University. Twenty years ago, I walked through those doors having never written an essay in my life. Then I was asked to write one for homework. So I did it. Then another. And another. Because I wanted it that badly. I graduated in 2009 and went on to work across the fashion industry, from fast fashion to couture in London. In December 2010, I opened my own boutique in Tarporley, Cheshire. Since then, SVE Fashion has showcased at London Fashion Week, appeared on a reality TV show featuring Rihanna, and I was honoured to win Fashion Designer of the Year in 2012. Through motherhood, personal struggles, illness, Covid and many other challenges, SVE Fashion has grown into a brand loved by women around the world, with clients as far as the USA and Australia. Every step of the way has come down to one thing: BELIEF. There have been times when running a business has felt lonely and I’ve felt like I had nothing left to give. But somehow, you find a little more. So if you’re struggling, please remember: You are not alone. You are seen. You are capable of more than you think. Keep believing ❤️ 📸 @dagmarastudios

Somebody please remind me I’m actually a singer... 😂🎤 This photoshoot was supposed to be all about my music. Freddie came along to help - I mean I can literally take him ANYWHERE! What a LEDGE. Thanks to the lovely Lizzie at @the_didsbury_wardrobe I had a rail full of absolutely gorgeous outfits to choose from. 👗 Freddie: “Mum, which outfit are you going to wear?” Me: walks out head to toe in Tropic with a Tropic raincoat, Tropic umbrella and Tropic bag 💚☔️ I’ve accepted there’s no separating me from Tropic these days! Huge thank you to the fabulous Dagmara at @dagmarastudios for making me feel so comfortable and capturing some beautiful photos. I can’t wait to see them! ❤️ #TropicSkincare #BehindTheScenes #SingerLife #ContentCreator #Photoshoot
