Well, BUKC Mains Event #1 Complete!
-
I genuinely am so grateful for being able to race with @uclanmotorsportteam , even if the first race didn't go to plan (yes, I know all 4 wheels are meant to stay on the ground 🥹) I had an absolute ball of a time.
Though, a slight dampener was put on my first race of the season, as my granny, Irene, passed away on the 4th of February. In honour of her, I quoted some songs and paid a tribute to her with my helmet.
Rest in peace, Granny. 🕊️

Fantastic day yesterday at the BUKC License Tests!
--
First time driving something as quick as those Club 100 karts and I'm very pleased with how the whole day went, meaning I secured my license!

I had pretty good pace, despite being as heavy as I am, and Whilton was a very fun track to get a feel for these karts. Found pretty big improvements into the second session, pushing like hell until the rain came down, which put me in the wall. Sore back, but great laugh!

I won't be competing full time this season, but the boys are still down there and will be racing in the qualifiers tomorrow.

Go ahead and show UCLan some love!
