If you’ve been following along for the past few days, you’ve seen me explore Brimfield. If you’re unfamiliar with it, I thought I’d give you a little info about what it’s all about. This was my third visit with @dailydennison and here’s my rundown. It’s a huge vintage show that happens three times a year in May, July and September. It is held in Brimfield, Massachusetts which is a charming town with lakes and green space. The show takes place along the main street of Brimfield and the fields on either side are full of vintage dealers. It is made up of over 20 independent antique and vintage shows all with different locations that open on different days and times and they line that main road. Some have an admission price (usually $5 or $10). There is LOTS of walking (we walked around 30,000 steps each day). It runs from Tuesday to Saturday and it’s truly one of a kind. There are lots and lots of shoppers and when shows open there is quite a crowd waiting. There are lots of lots for parking (with a $ fee). Vintage clothing and jewelry is bonkers with people often running to favorite booths (it’s VERY crazy to watch). There are great food trucks scattered about (we have favorites we look forward to, like the grilled cheese cart). The people watching is REALLY fun as well as hearing the different languages spoken as people travel for this show. If the weather is rainy wear boots as the fields just get soggy. There are numerous hotels and places to stay (best to book early). There is also a show schedule publication that is handy to pick up. It really is a one of a kind show and definitely fun to hit at least once if you love vintage. Have you gone? It was a bucket list show for me to hit. Chime in with a comment. Swipe. #magpieethelbrimfield #brimfield
