Across our five wildlife parks at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, three animal ambassadors @danlim11, @jonathanpaul.sxw and @ohthedenise go head-to-head as they champion our Stars of Mandai, bringing you closer to the personalities, stories, and hilarious quirks of these iconic animals. Keeping them on their toes is host @johnathanchua, with the ultimate prize of a dedicated bench within the precinct named in their honour at stake 🔥

No scripts, just real animal encounters and a judging panel with eagle eyes and un-bear-ably high standards! 👀

Now here's one for a throwback. Episode 229 of The Daily Ketchup Podcast, and I was there as the plus-one.

My mom, Joanna, better known as Sungoddess Tarot, was the guest. The topic: August babies, and whether it's time for them to quit their jobs. Numbers on the table. Careers on the line.

She sat in the middle of the studio, under the purple glow, reading life paths across the desk. One host listening with his chin in his hand. Another not quite ready for what came next. Every so often the room went quiet, the way it does when someone hears something a little too accurate.

I mostly watched from behind the cameras. It's a strange thing, seeing your own mother in her element in front of strangers. Familiar, and new at the same time.

Group photo before we left. Somebody had to do the bunny ears.

It’s the first time in my life that I had to “just be yourself” on screen, - a raw, vulnerable, try-to-find-love version of myself.

And then getting the chance to do a 360 PERFORMANCE REVIEW🤣. Watching myself back from a 3rd perspective, learning other people’s perspective of me through honest conversations, man it’s a big, much-appreciated, insightful revelation.

Going into my late 20s, it’s so easy to just decide “I know myself by now”, but little did I know, it’s rather fun to discover that - there’s much more to discover about yourself💫
