Elrond saving Galadriel's life in the season finale has become a bit of a tradition at this point 😄 But what if Galadriel has to save Elrond's life at some point in Season 3? 😳 Any thoughts?

I'm still not over this transformation 😭💔I love Elrond's story in Season 2 even more than his journey in Season 1, but it's still so hard to watch him lose hope and experience betrayal from his closest allies. How will this affect him in Season 3? Share your theories and hopes for him for next season!

THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER - WHERE IS HE?

While I did think this episode was slower, I understand that it was deliberately slowed down, the calm before the storm. Sauron now has a firm grasp over not just Celebrimbor and the forging of the Rings of Power, but over Eregion as a whole, and has even orchestrated the attack by Adar and his children on Eregion to perfection. This episode provides plenty of assurance that Sauron is indeed the mastermind he was written to be, and his corruption will only continue to spread from here on out. Hope you like this one! Adar's obsession with destroying Sauron has blinded him to the truth: that he is merely a tool in the Dark Lord's overarching plan. He now knows for certain who Sauron is. By the power of Morgoth's crown and the Elven ring, Nenya, he will have the power to kill Sauron. He knows he does not need Galadriel's aid to accomplish this. And in a moment of misplaced trust, Galadriel revealed to him plans of the Elven forces as well as the identity of the ring bearer.

In his delusion, Adar believes that Sauron is the only real threat he will be contending with. His confidence however, will be rattled when Elrond and his troops refuse to go down without a fight. I would not be surprised at all if we even got a one on one showdown between Elrond and Adar himself at some point.

It's so ironic that Elrond, who has been against the use of the rings from the start, will now be forced to protect Nenya with his very life. It goes back to Círdan's advice, that the rings must remain in the hands of the Elves. Elrond stands firmly against the use of the rings, but must also prevent the Orcs from obtaining their power.

Will Adar try to kill Elrond in an effort to secure the ring of power? Will we see a clash between these two characters on the battlefield? Will Elrond be forced to choose between Galadriel and the Ring?

THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER - HALLS OF STONE (POSTER 2)

The Numenorian storyline deserved some praise this episode too, though the primary focus was over in Middle-Earth. The inspiration for this poster was the shadow passing over Numenor, and I hope I was able to depict that shadow well here. Pharazon has officially come to power, and is relieving any members of the Sea Guard still loyal to Miriel and the Royal line, including Elendil and Valandil. There’s a clear division in Numenor, one that we know will lead to its predetermined fate, though we don’t yet know when that fate will come. One key learning from this episode, I HATE Kemen, the actor is doing such an incredible job of sparking a reaction out of the audience. In the middle of a temple ritual to those lost in battle in Middle-Earth, presumably including Isildur, Kemen and those loyal to the King arrive and order the evacuation of the temple, and informs everyone that the temple will be demolished for a new aqueduct. Tension emerges, a fight breaks out, Valandil is literally stabbed in the back by Kemen, and Elendil is thrown in jail. Reminds me a bit of Bard being thrown in jail in The Hobbit, I wonder what’s going to happen next! Hope you like this poster as well, rate it 1-10

THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER - HALLS OF STONE (POSTER 1)

Halls of Stone is definitely my favorite episode so far, earning a 9.4/10 rating! I’ve always loved watching the Dwarven story arc unfold more, especially because we knew it’d intersect directly with that of Eregion and the influence of Sauron. Now we’re seeing the corruption of Sauron take place, as the Seven Dwarven Rings crafted by Celebrimbor and Annatar are presented to King Durin. The Dwarven King has brought light back to Khazad-Dum thanks to his Ring, but he is starting to become overcome by greed, and the desire to delve deeper into the mountain to mine more Mithril, which we as viewers know, will end in fire. Over in Eregion, Celebrimbor is starting to lose his mind over hearing of this influence, and Annatar has convinced Celebrimbor to allow for the creation of Nine Rings for Men, essentially to make up for the flaws of the Seven. Time to get your popcorn, hope you like this poster! Rate it 1-10
