We weren’t expecting a harvest this year, but after a hot summer our little vineyard was ready weeks ahead of schedule. With rain on the way, a strict deadline at the winery, and only one day to get everything picked, we sprang into action.
But this is just the beginning… Follow along to see how these grapes turn into your favourite sparkling wine. 🥂 Have you ever helped picked grapes before?

A huge thank you to all our amazing friends and volunteers who helped make our first harvest possible. We couldn’t have done it without you! 💛

SCROLL UP FOR PART 2… Do you know where your wine comes from?
This is where the journey begins 🌱🍇🥂

This is our Pinot Noir field - 0.74 hectares - 3718 vines

We waited two years for this day. We had to delay planting by a year and then we had a scheduling clash with a Dior commercial, which used the farm as a filming base. But finally the day came. Neil was working abroad on another epic movie so I filmed everything to document the process. Even though we talked about it, I actually had no idea how a vineyard is planted...

Stay Tuned for Part 2 (music by the talented Daisy Corbould @daiscorbo

The rest of my 2020 went like:

Explored the local spots 🌿 Vienna grew into the most clever girl thanks to the best Mum and my best friend 🐈‍⬛💓 Met AFC ❤ Cute river days 🏞 New garden who dis 🌻☀️ Bday bash in the pouring rain 🌧🎉 Drank all of the G&Ts 🍸 Staycation in Bath 🛀👳👳‍♀️💕 Matching with Betsy 🐑🐶 and got some bangs cut by the lovely Lou ✂️👧

Can't fit everything in, but 2020 has been one of my best years so far (COVID aside) and I'm so grateful to everyone who has been a part of it!! We have persevered through zoom gymnastics sessions, been in and out of lockdowns, I started a new job, Jack spiked Lynn, I've made friends with the most amazing group of girls on my course, Caitlin and I picked some pumpkins and most importantly everyone is healthy. I honestly feel like one of the luckiest girls ✨
