Jordan Sloan was born in California and raised in Oregon, and skateboarding has been woven into his life since childhood. He first stepped on a board at just seven years old, but an early setback pulled him away when his board was run over. It wasn’t until seventh grade that he returned to skating, and this time it became permanent. What started as a way to get out of the house quickly turned into something deeper. Jordan was drawn to the culture the freedom, the creativity, and the sense of community without judgment. Skating gave him a space where effort mattered more than labels and individuality was embraced. Over the years, skating has shaped more than his style. It’s taught him patience, passion, humility, and how to control anger. Instead of getting frustrated when something doesn’t work, he learned to slow down, stay disciplined, and put more time into his craft. Every trick became a lesson in persistence. Jordan doesn’t skate for photos or attention. He skates for the feeling, the growth, and the connection to the culture. For him, skateboarding is about progress, not perfection and it continues to be the place where he stays grounded and true to himself.
