Met the one and only Beau Demayo and the voice actors of Rogue and Morph. Plus the real lip sync assassin of Drag Race season 16 Megami!

Thanks @beau_demayo for an incredible season one of X Men 97. Thanks for all you do for the community 🙏🏽✨🌈

⚠️LA IS SICK🤮: TOO MANY TRYING TO REPLICATE INSTEAD OF DELEGATE ⚠️. Collaboration in LA can be taboo due to the shared “crabs in a barrel” mentality and the influence of the kloutsphere’s group think. Many come here and lose their authenticity, trying to replicate & gatekeep instead of delegate & uplift. 🚫

My frustration with the culture of individualism, specifically within the creative/entertainment space in LA, alongside my desire to connect transplants with real LA, inspired me to curate the 3rd iteration of @thatmiddlechild Built Not Bought. Built Not Bought (🔗 in bio), is my rhythmic documentary project (360 film, film & photo) that I began in 2017, exploring the car culture in Los Angeles & the coming togetherness of Black & Brown in South LA. As the 5 year anniversary approached, I felt compelled to showcase the project officially as my “artist debut”. Alongside my co-curator & fellow artist friend @anthonywx & with the support of @godson_dc , TAKEOVER 360 was created, an immersive gallery experience celebrating true LA culture.

Rooted in the spirit of community, it was only right to join forces with a fellow creative documenting the culture in a different light, a local car club @refresh.era , my day 1 @fullthrottleperformance2024 , and a local-owned @gallery90220 to elevate & encapsulate the experience. Having been coached along the way, not only did I successfully curate my first official gallery, but also sold my first prints to 2 art legends. 🤯 The success of the month long show demonstrates the true spirit of collaboration & serves as a reminder that we are stronger when we bet on each other.

In a city known for its fierce competition, it’s crucial to remember that collaboration is not a sign of weakness, but a testament to our collective power. By supporting and lifting each other up, we create an environment where innovation flourishes. Let’s break free from the barriers of individualism and celebrate the diversity of talent & perspective that makes our creative community thrive. As a powerful force for change, may authenticity & collaboration become the norm in the creative ecosystem of Los Angeles.

And just like that We gone! 2023

This has been a Special Year.
It hasn't been the easiest but its 1 for the books as the struggles & transistions I went through this Year have shaped me into a better Man for the rest of my life. Some People & somethings are only around for a season & can serve as a Blessing once you understand the Lesson. 2023
has Blessed me with major Growth in every area of my life: Health, Business, Family, Friendship & Romance. I learned to change my perspective on the outter world, I regained my discipline + discovered much gratitude.
I undertand everything doesn't happen overnight & if it does to be cautious of that, naturally things build overtime with patience & work. In 2023 I learned to open my heart and not be too worried with what comes back because as long as you have good intentions the Universe looks out for you!

Be fearlessly You. Im sending love & abundance to everyone. Congratualations You made it‼️

Lets get intentional for 2024 & keep moving in faith with gratitude. When we show love life is what its supposed to be.

Happy New Years 🍾🎉🎊
