Is there a correlation between sleep and hydration? Oh yes! Drink a glass of water before going to bed, for a restful night’s sleep.

According to the Sleep Foundation going to bed mildly dehydrated can actually disrupt our sleep. Hydrating before bed can help avoid sleep-disruptive snoring, dry mouth and parched throat.

The Sleep Foundation also warns that 'a lack of pre-bed fluids can also lead to nocturnal leg cramps that may keep you awake. In addition to the frustration of fragmented sleep, being dehydrated during night can compromise your alertness, energy, and cognitive performance the following day.”

We have all heard that it’s best to avoid drinking before bed and while downing a whole bottle of water before hitting the sack is not recommended, drinking a small glass of it will do you no harm.
