Seeing my dad was the best thing that's happened in 2 years. He swooped in to help me unbury myself. Thing is I've lost a lot of support & need it now more than ever, so he dug the deepest hole after I became unmanageable. And left with unmanagable. I need such a small amount of support to be independent but that support is not covered, offered, & losing my sister next door right after Nelly has given me absolutely no adjustment time. My 4 neurologist express the importance of things maintaining the same & here I am late on everything. I can't even get someone to take me to the bank. Let me please thank @marles_in_charge @amandacolumbus for acting fast and getting me help. 9 bags of laundry & my father for his remote help that is endless. The tables should be turned. I am losing so many family members. I have no idea how to function when things get like this and my baseline is not a great place but I appreciate it so much bc when it is gone I feel it now.

I'm out of funds to do the mandatory uncovered mobility massages. Offsite laundry & medical suspension of license - not to mention how do I get food when I cannot manage the stimuli these brain tumors attack me bc item item item humans strike me down. I need to hire someone and I just can't. No budgeting skillls are better than none. For my budget anyhow. I've had .3/3 forms for months - I got 1 in. All of which B said he would turn in 2 years ago.

My whole job is to stabilize & also get my spine and hip strong so i can go through radiation in Jan@m

The only upside is maybe the seizures with stop, the influx of growing systems.

There are no words of gratitude. I am trying to practice talking but I am going non verbal. I don't just recover. I need help. And it's truly not much but when it builds up everything falls apart. Missing this mobility massage - weekly- that doesn't recover either. The pretzel I become. The immobility. I can barely see anymore. And when things pile up, I stop functioning. I just desperately need some 🙏�

Sharing this precious picture for Mother’s Day. A depiction of how amazing it is to watch life come full circle. The top is my mom walking my siblings and I to school one day when we were kids. The bottom is just last week when she was in town. We went for our after dinner walk, and I gasped when I looked up to see her with my girls, as the top image flashed into my mind. My girls are the exact ages that my siblings and I were. And it just took my breath away…
I can’t even pinpoint exactly what about this makes my heart ache so much. I feel sadness about the passage of time. Nostalgia, that always creates a longing within me. Pride for how far I’ve come in my life and for creating these 3 spectacular beings. But mostly gratitude. I’m so thankful for my siblings. I’m so thankful for such an amazing mother. I’m so thankful that my mother is still around to have such a special bond with my own babies. And my goodness I’m so thankful for these kids. They are my world and my whole life’s purpose. I’m thankful for their dad, who is a great teammate/ partner, and without whom these kids (and my life as I know it) wouldn’t exist.
What a wild ride being a mom is. A crazy, difficult, joyful, rewarding, profound, amazing, exhausting, confusing, empowering, identity shattering, transformative, beautifully messy ride.
I grew up with a grandmother whose mothering was such an inspiration to me. I watched the magical bond she had with her own kids, which my mom so seamlessly passed down to us. It was always a dream to pass that same bond down to my own little humans. And to see this here…. That I did it… That this generational bond, this invisible string, is not only intact but THRIVING… man I just feel so thankful and complete.
Happy Mother’s Day out there to all the moms, in all the forms… all the caretakers out there working your asses off to build your legacy of love and tradition. It’s the hardest job but we’re doing it!!
I hope you feel loved today and every day ❤️

Two whole slides just for the outfit alone, because I really was (/am!!) so obsessed with this whole look 🥲 I very intentionally curated each piece to align with the look and vibe I was aiming for. I wanted my outfit to reflect not only the overall theme and concept of my party (champagne was the mood board inspiration), but qualities that I identity with as a person! Classy, edgy, playful, likes to push boundaries a little, a little bit of introvert (black) mixed with extrovert (shimmery metallics and lace), and most importantly, confident in my skin, which I have worked so hard for, and finally feel after 40 years. The best part is what isn’t pictured here, which was when I showed up to the venue with sweatpants on under the dress and snow boots. That really was the FULL picture of who I am 🤣 (+ the unexpected P*N!S written right outside the party room in the snow lol). I waited 3 years for a reason to justify getting this dress. So happy I finally got the opportunity to wear it!!

Sunday was truly one of the best nights of my life. I have no words other than to say it was utterly perfect. I’m so grateful to my husband for planning this for me. I was completely overwhelmed by all the details that went into it. There were even surprise performances (by my kids 🥹), an emotional/ HILARIOUS montage, and even some celebrity cameo bday wishes 🤣💀💀💀 Im so grateful to Craig for working so hard to make this so special, and to all the people who not only came to celebrate that night, but to everyone who has sent birthday wishes, or celebrated with me in other ways. 40 has already been one for the books. Im so grateful.
