Had to rearrange a gig so I could do this… and how could I not? Last chance to catch @dalataofficial this year….this version of the live band has been so inspiring this year, forever finding new dimensions and fresh joy in the music. Now fronted by the captivating @carolynalelys with the killer backbone of @marcinho.pereira.drummer and @matheus.nova on bass, @carlsmithmusic percussion and the wonderful @emireallyhere on keys….can’t wait for the magic! I’ll be spinning some tunes too! Hope you can reach☮️💜🎶

Mellow Madness @weouthere special airing now on @worldwidefm 🎪🎡🎶
Let’s keep the WOH 2026 going for as long as possible so I decided to make a little post-festival group therapy session by inviting my dear friends @melhoneymel, @kaffecreme, @aounnnnnnnnnnnn, @___mbass and @saint_james.dj to share their memories, and highlights!
Hopefully you can still enjoy a little bit of the WOH spirit through this one if you weren’t here🤍
Big up to the WOH staff, all the DJs, artists, the whole technical crew who make this festival happen.
Big love to my friends and everyone I caught up with during the festival see you next year 🥹

OK, late to the @weoutherefest posting party.
So if Glasto is the daddy of all festivals, then WOH must be the mother.
Life giving, nurturing, loving.
The only downside of the best festival lineup on earth is letting go of the FOMO. So many great options, all of the time.
Regular readers will know I’m a bit of cryer 🥹. WOH tipped me 3 or 4 times.
Obviously @joshuaidehen got me and 1000’s of others in a warm teary tiz. If you ever see his name on a bill - go - it’s life affirming.
I also got a bit emosh at @newgenjazz, a band of Brighton teenagers performing jazz, taught in free workshops based on the @tom_warriors principals that helped create @ezracollective. I wasn’t expecting it to be as great as it was, and the combination of lack of sleep, the energy and innocence of youth, plus real talent and brilliant concept was tear inducing.
My major breakdown was after @arthurverocai_ with @nucivilisation orchestra. Beautiful, joyous tunes and set added to a great young orchestra, a back drop of iconic black and white pictures from his prime, and his passion but also physical fragility got me. I think in a year of people close to me passing, the full cycle of life hit me hard, along with an appreciation of what a rare, special and time-limited spectacle this was. Similarly @gillespeterson playing Supertramps - Give a Little Bit in honour of his recently passed sister in his closing set was a moment too 😢.
Beyond that - so many fun joyous moments. The @trojansoundsystem takeover of Love Dance with @daddygofficial and @nightmaresonwax was a huge highlight with toasters and even a little @greenteapeng appearance.
@djspinna and @mrs_cruff B2B was everything you’d hope it to be.
Glen Underground in the bowl was great but far too quiet.
@rogebrasil was Brazilian music at its most sublime, and proved how you can rock a big crowds with just an acoustic guitar and drums. @mr_disco_kid set of the weekend.@momokogill was just ridiculously beautiful. @dalataofficial were quite brilliant.
I loved every ounce of anafrangoeletric set. Top band, great charisma, and a very modern and charming take from Brazil was ace. @bartzoyo great proper jazz finish. And the people!

OK. What can I say? @weouthere never fails to fulfil!

Thank you to Gilles, Noah and Colleen for believing in the @edc crew. We were so blessed to play at Love Dancin AND The Bowl this year and the people who came to see us at both sets were amazing! It was great to see faces that we knew and got to know. Thanks to Ian Mackie and all the sound crew at Love Dancin’ for caring about how we sounded.

Thanks also to Simon from Brawnswood who invited me and Cyndi to play on the Sunday.

Shout out to the MANCHESTER bods who showed up to support

Here are a few of my highlights from the weekend......
