when prayer meets preparation!!! 😮‍💨🥹✨ two weeks ago in Orlando, i had the opportunity to open for my goat @zackfox — someone who GETS music and does an amazing job highlighting and spreading the love of black dance music. that too me, means the absolute world to have been apart of!

if i’m being honest, i prepped for this moment mooonths ago. from starting a new mix series titled “Club Couture” to just digging daily for sounds that i feel i would absolutely rinse on that stage. when i got the call from my very special friend @djgayz that we were both opening together, i couldn’t help but cry tears of joy. from that moment on, i had two weeks to fully lock in + i did just that! ✨

Orlando, thank you for your love and energy for allllll of these years. thank you for making this my second home away from home! being engaged with you all on that stage was so special 🥲 i’m inspired, i’m grateful and i am blessed maaaaan.

to all of my family and friends who came to support, i love you all so much. to @zackfox, his team and @thevanguard.live, thank you so for everything!!! 🫂 to my brother and bestie @kelltoodope, you’re incredibly talented and i can’t thank you enough for capturing such beautiful moments this night that i will remember forever, ilysm!! 🤎

this music means everything and more to me, black club music especially. new ((( Club Couture ))) this week!!! love y’all.

recap post of POVs of sweet people that took vids and pics!!
Excuse me while I get mushyyyy (˵＞𐋣＜˵)

I had the honor of opening for one of my favorite artists @zackfox , alongside one of my favorite artists AND people @ronmercyok !!

When I first started DJing, I was downloading @ronmercyok tracks not knowing he was literally in the same city as me?! I went to see him play locally & somewhere along the way through the Gulf Coast music scene & @sector.fm , we became friends ˙ᵕ˙ Getting to share this moment together felt so full circle!! If you don’t know Ron Mercy you better tap in ASAP. Thank you for always believing in me dude!!

The crowd & energy during my set were unlike anything I’ve experienced before & I’m still thinking about it ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝⋆˙⟡♡

Opening for Zack Fox & finally getting to see him play in person was so surreal. I left the night feeling so inspired to keep growing as an artist!! Huge thank you to Zack Fox & his team for for the opportunity/ believing in us & for showcasing the artists of this community 𑣲⋆

Thank you to @theritzybor @sunsetevents for taking such good care of us & making my set feel unreal!!
Thank you to @deweyloud for being so talented & capturing everything from beginning to end. Book him or else (˵•̀⤙•́˵)૭
& HUGE thank you to the people that continually show up for me ₊˚⊹ ᢉ𐭩

If you missed it, YouTube video of the set coming soon thanks to the talented @deweyloud ୨ৎ

Got my film back from the very last Sunday at @crowbarybor 🫂❤️‍🔥 I decided to stop and get a camera before heading over to capture this special night, and I’m so glad I did.

Such a beautiful and nostalgic night. Every person in these photos is a legend and such a meaningful part of the Tampa community.

Growing up, Crowbar was one of those places that left a lasting impact on me. So many of the DJs, artists, and creatives I looked up to played there and inspired me to become the person and creative I am today.

I’m so grateful for places like this that gave creatives a home, brought people together, and showed the power of music and community. The love @tommybfld built within those walls continues to inspire me in my own ventures and in the spaces I hope to create for others.

This place will forever hold a special place in my heart. I feel incredibly lucky that I got to experience it, grow up around it, and eventually become a small part of its story.

All good things come to an end, but I couldn’t be more excited to see what the future will bring!

I love you so much, Tampa. Thank you for inspiring me, shaping me, and giving me so many beautiful memories.

Long live Crowbar!

Happy 40th Birthday to my beautiful man 🤍
To celebrate this amazing person please go support @rawmoothico this weekend! Grab a smoothie or give them some love on their page

I’ve had the immense privilege of witnessing and loving you for most of your 30s; this decade has blessed us with some amazing and wild memories. Meeting and falling in love at your smoothie shop, buying our home, running and opening businesses, getting married, going to Europe together for the first time and surviving 2020 which included: paddle boarding through a lightning storm, almost stepping on a diamond back rattle snake, and a pandemic.
I’m so grateful to begin this new decade of your life together. Cheers to more love, joy, and adventures captured on film in your 40s. You’re the coolest guy I know and I am so honored to be your wife.

All images are film photos I’ve taken with absolutely love and admiration for this incredible person @ruekidd__

Happy Birthday, mi amor! xx
