Welp, as you all know, school is in full swing here in Texas! This post will be different and personalized. Today, I introduce you to Sophmore Class President Aylani Acosta! Woot woot. Super proud of her and super excited to see all the wonderful things she does this year as her first year in HHS.
PS. Last week campaigning was in-full swing and we all worked to help her and her friends get a position. She and one of her bestie goal was President and Vice-President and they BOTH got those positions. Also her other friend who worked on his campaign poster at my house got Secretary! These kids are sooo awesomesauce♡♡

Last day of school!

This has been such an amazing year for my kids. Aylani and the twins all started at new schools feeling nervous and anxious, but still ready to take on the year. Through the ups and downs, they successfully finished 6th and 9th grade!

The boys got to be in band for the first time and also tried a new kind of robotics team compared to elementary school. Jared was in honors classes, and Lionel received the Band Director’s Award.

Aylani started taking AP courses and dual enrollment classes. She was also one of her freshman class representatives, part of the National Junior Honor Society, and finished in the top 10% of her class.

Dalitzy also finished her sophomore year at the University of Jamestown. I don’t have a last-day picture of her, but she just came back from her choir/band trip to Italy!

Overall, all four of my children had an amazing year full of new memories, hard days, growth, and success. They all survived one more school year!

Bring on the summer activities!

Hi everyone, they say it takes a village to raise a child, and today I truly feel the meaning of that. My daughter, Dalitzy, has been given an amazing opportunity to travel to Italy with her band group at UJ, and we are beyond proud of her.

If you find it in your heart to bless her with a little extra support toward this opportunity, it would be deeply appreciated. Every bit helps make this dream possible.

Dalitzy, I am so proud of everything you are achieving right now and of all the incredible opportunities coming your way. You have worked so hard for this moment, and you deserve every bit of it.

God bless you all, and Italy… here she comes 🇮🇹❤️
