made it to ukraine again :)
what an opportunity to serve at a foster/orphans camp there.
and i come back with my heart broken.

broken for people.

i have seen some things and heard some stories that i would not believe unless i saw and heard myself.

it’s a good thing to have our heart broken for what breaks God s heart.

this requires action.

not easy.
not safe.
not cheap.
not glorious.
not of me.

but whoever said following Jesus would be easy.

why?
because loving others is not easy.
it requires your personal time.
your energy
your talents
your life

and let’s face it, we get comfortable with our lives and don’t want it to change.

but these kids in a war country still need hope and Jesus is that hope.

so we go to share that gift that we received.

Jesus.

you are loved.

“we all have two lives! and the second one starts when you realize you only have one!”
so what are you waiting for.
live your life
now
right now
”So, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.“
‭‭I Thessalonians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

”“Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh?“
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭58‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

”I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.“
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
you are loved!

i had the privilege to go to Turkey to serve orphans and foster children from ukraine.

the kids are amazing. i saw kids change for the better while our team was there.

these kids showed us love, showed us what it meant to be content with what one has, how to give from the little that they have!!!

i am blessed to be part of their lives.

the volunteers that went were just amazing. we were one team serving the kids and each other.

they truly lived out my life motto:

love God
love others
serve God
serve others

please continue to pray for the kids as some are leaving for poland. it’s a big move and not sure when we will see them again.

you are loved.

Turkey trip #3

purpose :) that’s my take away from this 4th trip back to Turkey in the last 12 months.

what is your purpose?

maybe you have not found it yet, and that’s OK.

maybe you know what it is and it seems scary.

maybe you’re in the middle of it and it’s hard.

but I think this life without purpose…. without a cause to work towards… it’s just aimlessly moving from day to day.

your purpose might be just for a season.

to be a teacher for a bit
to be healing for a while
to rest in Jesus at this time
to learn something new

but do it all with a purpose

to ❤️ God and ❤️ people
to serve God and serve people

that could look different for everyone but you will know it in your heart

I want to encourage you
to find your purpose right now.

love it.
live it out loud.
may Jesus get all the Glory through it.

If I can help in anyway, please let me know.

so we went to Turkey again to help Ukrainian orphans and foster families and their caretakers.

some people ask why?

simple response, because someone once’s helped me and i am sure someone once helped you too

if you have a few good friends, they have surely helped you at least once in your life

the people you surround yourself with
makes the whole difference

anything significant is never done alone

the power of a team

the power of a friend

the power of someone else coming along side of you makes life that much more enjoyable and significant

a quote that I use often is “you are the average of the five people you surround yourself with”

so the question is “who do I surround myself with”? and who do you surround yourself with?

are they going to bring us up or are they going to bring us down with them?

you decide
you choose
you can say yes or no to those who you want in your life

be a transformer for the good to those around you

Jesus did the ultimate “good”. He gave His life for me and for you.

that’s love.

i have so much to grow in my love for others!

you are loved!

ps. i need friends and want them :)
