Dancing In An Empty Room. Photographing Dallas dancing brought me back to the very first time I bought a camera a Nikon D7100. Back then, I had to hide it, due to the abusive situation I was living in. The only place I could really use it was in an empty room, as I eventually called the space. During this time I could experiment, observe, and slowly discover what photography meant to me. Years later, watching Dallas dance in front of my camera made me realize how much those early moments still live inside the way I see and tell stories today. Thanks for dance for me @dallybou #visualstorytelling #visualnarratives #photostory #fineartphotography #womanphotographer

3️⃣2️⃣🎂 Lots of ups and downs like every year, but grateful for always trying to be a better creative, friend, husband, and human especially this year! Continuing to look inward for validation, learning about myself through therapy (going on 7 years now), healing my inner child and being the silly kid I’ve always been, and caring for those around me. Appreciate all the people in my life 💜 Also released another album today, pls go listen to “droneS” on streaming services and Bandcamp 😇

I feel so fortunate to be surrounded and supported by a community of incredible women. Finding a tribe of “girls’ girls” who have each other’s backs is such a gift. These are just a few of them who I’m lucky enough to call friends 👏💕 Many others not in these photos but you know who you are 😉
