Naloxone is safe, easy to use, and only works if opioids are involved, it won’t harm someone who isn’t overdosing 💙 Having multiple doses on hand is important, and you can always give a second dose if breathing doesn’t improve while you wait for 911.

On October 18th, DSSSC members Luke, Kevin, Ewan, Eve, Parushi, Layan, Reginald, Salma, Emelia, Stephen, John, Nafisa, Sophia, Anna, KC, Abigail, Sarah, Kendra, Pia, Rachel, Waverley, Aseil and Brianna volunteered at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada’s Light the Night in Halifax!

It was inspiring to see our community come together in support of those affected by blood cancers, raising over $740,000 through the generosity of donors and supporters.

We are incredibly grateful to have contributed to an event that brings hope, support and a sense of community to individuals and families affected by blood cancers. A huge thank you to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada for welcoming our volunteers and allowing DSSSC to be part of such a meaningful day!

Last week, we kicked off our Agentic AI workshop series with a hands-on session on designing AI agents as state machines. Thank you to everyone who came out and built their own AI agent with us!

Throughout the session, attendees:
- Learned how AI agents are structured with state graphs and conditional routing
- Got hands-on with industry tools like LangGraph and Pydantic
- Built a working AI agent by the end of the night

A huge thank you to our presenters, Akash and Akshit, for leading the session, and to our execs for helping everyone along the way. Stay tuned for the next workshop in the series! #DalMLS #AgenticAI
