Truth be told, we never set out to produce a show. The responsibility of a producer—to the cast, the community, and the art—is something we didn’t take lightly. But when @fartajean (we miss you Marta) approached us about bringing something to @californiaclipper something within us said yes.

That yes became Notes on Masculinity—a space to champion art forms often overlooked, to ensure artists are paid well, and to create an environment where our audience feels truly cared for.

To produce this show alongside @switchtheboi is an absolute dream. There is no other feeling than creating and dreaming with family. Love you Switch more than language can capture!

Come thru for this year’s final installment of NOM and celebrate the incredible talent of Chicago’s Drag Kings and Drag Expansive artists. We out here! Book us!

Major shoutout to all the drag artists who participated in our photo project, inspired by @skimisking and @longlivekingsized captured by @greg_inda! Y’all are the moment!

(Couldn’t tag everyone featured in the first slide. Shout out yourself in the comments so folks know to follow and support you!🖤)

Next week is big for all of us: first thing we’re going to do is vote, and the second thing we’re going to do is have a gorgeous Saturday at Logan Square Pizza Lobo’s November Sauced and Saucy featuring an exciting cast and guest DJ Ariel Zetina !! Come hang out with Boy J and I as we host our monthly afternoon party from 3-6p, and make it a point to be there for the performances that start at 4p. Kisses and hugs, love and light, pizza and beer

There’s a reason Notes on Masculinity was voted Best Variety Show by the @gaggyawards 🌟October’s show featured a lesson on “yes, and”, the TEN YEAR anniversary of @switchtheboi and @tilavontwirl, and our usual “Switch, sit down!” Class resumes in December.. don’t miss 📚
