USA Photo Dump #1: Days Off and Mates

Having landed back in Australia 🇦🇺 it’s honestly pretty hard to fathom what we’ve just experienced. We absolutely LOVE the USA!

Two months in that amazing country, crossing its great expanses (with a little detour into Canada) and playing our music alongside one of our favourite bands, @redclaystrays.

To every person who came early, watched our set, bought a record or a shirt, sang along, came up to us afterwards or simply gave our band a chance, thank you. The response to our music was beyond anything we could have expected.

This was without doubt one of the hardest and most rewarding things we’ve ever done together as a band. And somewhere amongst the long drives, late nights, early mornings and shows, it became pretty clear to us where we want to spend a lot more of our time.

….We’re already working on finding our way back in 2027.

We’ll be forever grateful to our dear mates @redclaystrays, @dylangossett and @officialwyattflores for the memories, and to our fans new and old for making this tour such an incredible ride.

Seems pretty fitting that our last song of the run ended like this.

We love you all. We thank you all.
Forever grateful. ❤️

Peace, love, and happiness. I’ve been reflecting on the past couple of days of these words and the more I think about it, the more I come to realize it doesn’t really happen around me. It happens within. I’m still able to do what I love in being a student, a teacher, and a martial artist and it brings out happiness. Most of it tends to be the little things that’s easy to miss🖤🤍

Special shout out to these pictures that have been captured this year. Many thanks my sponsors @paulmitchellmartialarts @centurymartialarts

Austin Open 🩵

🥉traditional forms

A quick trip to Austin made for good memories! It felt good to get back onto the mat with my new form. I ended up hurting myself on accident while practicing before competing, but I’m glad I was able to push through. God works in mysterious ways, and I feel like He was trying to teach me a lesson with this-no matter the pain, trials, or tribulations, I CAN do all things through HIM. I felt it in my heart to place my trust in Him. Trust that He played the events out leading up to my division in a certain way for a reason.

On that note-happy Easter weekend! Praise Jesus! What a blessing it is to live this life. I’m so beyond grateful!
