Our new building glows with possibility — a reminder of how far ARTFUL has come, and what we’re creating together.

This Giving Tuesday, your support helps us do more than build studios. It helps us shape a welcoming space where creativity belongs to everyone — artists, neighbors, families, students, and anyone who simply needs a place to feel inspired and connected.

Join us in thanking City Council members for their support and commending them for publicly expressing it. Councilman Jim Petras and Councilman Craig Cobb are co-sponsoring a resolution of support, which will be voted on during the Council meeting on Monday, September 16, at 7:30 pm at Cleveland Heights City Hall. While this public statement of support cannot force the Library Board to act and respects their autonomy in decision-making, it sends a clear message that Cleveland Heights’ elected representatives stand with the residents who have voiced their desire to preserve this important community pillar.

We hope to see you Monday night (09/16) at 7:30 pm at Cleveland Heights City Hall – 40 Severance Circle, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118.

COVENTRY P.E.A.C.E. UPDATE — We encourage everyone to read our full statement on our “Keep The P.EA.C.E.” page (link in bio) but here are the bullet points:
- We continue to maintain support for all community-serving organizations.

- We will work towards a reasonable outcome that benefits all involved.

- We aim to support the Library while preserving the Coventry P.E.A.C.E Building.

- Time is pressing — we are down to WEEKS not months.

- The looming closure and/or demolition of the Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Building would be devastating for our community.

- Contrary to the Library’s claims, the Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Project has consistently demonstrated financial sustainability and we have a proven track record of creating and maintaining affordable, accessible spaces.

- Our Arts, Culture & Education Center is financial sustainable & we have a plan on addressing capital expenses.

- We have shown ourselves to be competent & responsible.
- We have support from major funding organizations—IF we have long-term leases.

- We are an important asset to our local economy.

- We are ready and able to resume the Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Campus project.

- Cleveland Heights is known for its creativity and forward-thinking spirit, focusing on the intangibles that strengthen community vitality.

- Together, we can “Keep the P.E.A.C.E.”

For more information on how you can help now, please go to coventrypeacecampus.org/keepthepeace (link in bio).

Friends & Family - stop by our nonprofit (@artful_cleveland ) this Friday for an evening of fun & creativity. This quarter's PEACE Pops (April 26, 2024) will feature a solo art show by one of my besties (@shangrala__ ), a poetry open mic night with @erie.ink , ARTFUL open studios, a Zen Blend (yoga & tea) with one of our artists (Tondi Allen).
