Idek what to say, MMR 26’ was phenomenal. This was my 2nd year teaching WWH, driving culture into the minds of our next leaders, finding my new opportunities, and elevating my current strengths. The laughs, smiles, and tears created so many new memories I’ll never leave behind; the comments from my students really touched my heart and I’m just so thankful I was able to be a light on the path to their success. There’s so much talent in this company and when we come together we shine as brighter than the stars in the sky. Thank you everyone for making this MMR great, thank you friends for your love and time, and thank you Lord for making this all possible.

We are…

The JUGGERNAUTS!

We’re together again in one space for less than 48 hours. We have to make the most of it, and last night we definitely did during our annual awards ceremony.

Special shoutout to our District top performers…

Our 2023 Rookie of the Year is @micah.cruzzz! Talk about a whirlwind of a year. He climbed and competed through every position on a Zumiez sales floor to earn a spot as a Store Manger just 1 month ago.

Our 2023 Most Inspirational is @citizen_bunny! Jasper is a positive light in every environment they are a part of and has a talent for making everyone around them feel special and included.

Our 2023 MVP is @joshua._.lowe_ ! Committed to improving himself, his store, and growing with the company. Joshua literally never stops, and that’s why he is our District MVP!

Pulling double duty as our Master of Ceremony and our District Rookie Store Manager of the Year, who else could it be but @__taaaylorrr! There is noone who challenges themself harder than her. Always looking for an opportunity to grow, learn, and get better, she amazes everyone who gets the chance to work around her.

Also pulling double duty as a teacher during content today and our District SMOY, for the 2nd year in a row, of course it’s @damnnjacque! Her contribution to our District and her team(s) is irreplaceable. It was so cool to see so many of her previous employees receive District accolades this year!

Third year MMR complete. This year was different. I made life long friends. Bonded with people like I haven’t before. The culture at zumiez is what helped me deal with what happened at my mall on 5/6. If it wasn’t for any of these people around me I wouldn’t know what I would do. Thank you @zumiez for having the people who are genuine work for the company. Now to get back to my team and be at 100% for them.

Special shout-out to @emjcreation for being awarded the Sack-of-Potatoes award for his AMAZING work with @4dwn_org. Elijah wasn’t at the event, so, his Store Manager stepped in and represented him on stage.

There were tears, laughter, and a whole lot of recognition. Words do not do justice for how unbelievably proud of this group I am.

Best Foot Forward Finals was...astounding. To say the least. But what I love most about these Events are my people. Spotlighting these two (And Freddie too I guess). Jacque reminded me that everything happens for a reason. Bailey showed me that Inversions are fucking difficult. Who knows? Ya boi might have found a new, meditative hobby #Namaste ✨
