@b.effectbrewing - Hemp Hazy IPA 6.0%

Yeah so not the classical hazy - this one’s got added hemp in the mix.

This is one dank brew, heaps of resin countering the massive pineapple hit and tangy lime. Hello Motueka hops.

Huge shot out to Dan @dan.del.prete and all the team from Wanaka. Can’t forget the tin art too - @lovethyland_nz Lisa is amazing.

Cheers to a cold and wet Friday at my place peeps.

@sawmillbrewery - “Cold” NZIPA 6.0%

The legends from Matakana have teamed up with the backbones from @norsewear for their latest iteration of the Aotearoa Series.

This one is a cold IPA (or as I say “a lager with some a slice of tropics”)

It’s bright, citrusy with a light malt background. Crisp and ridiculously easy to drink finishing with a keen bitterness.

First to admit that cold IPA’s aren’t the first style I’d reach for but this is a great reminder of what a NZ Brewery can do with NZ hops

I’d be interested to hear what you all think about the style @craftbeernz @beerswithcol_nz @beers_crafty @craftbeersnz @_____dusty_____ @beerswithtom @hop.tom.ism @hoppiness.co.nz @aucklandbeerlover @wiseowlbrewingco @nzbeersandstuff @nz_craftygirl @nzbeerlover @beerlifenz @dan.del.prete @daniel_loves_beer @nick_drinks_crafties @everybeerd @beerswithbrucey

@b.effectbrewing - “Ridgeline” Hazy IPA 6.0%

The latest in a great gift pack from @dan.del.prete has me going East early tonight with a different kind of hazy.

Different as although I’m getting some juicy pineapple from this I’m also getting a bit of funky sour going on which actually makes it super refreshing.

On an absolute awful day of weather in New Plymouth and half of my fence now somewhere else - this is what was needed 😂. Stay safe and cheers

@b.effectbrewing - “Pedal or Die” IPA 6.2%

Named after the original bike track in Sticky Forest, Wanaka….this is a good old fashioned IPA with everything you want from the style.

It’s bold citrus, piney, resinous notes on top of a toasted malt backbone has a simply outstanding first up drink for the weekend.

If you’re into straight up IPA’s without the added fruity haziness - then go to ya local tonight to get this. Highly recommended. Cheers to @dan.del.prete

And what about the outstanding can art from @lovethyland_nz -

@b.effectbrewing - WCIPA 6.0%

Next instalment of the ongoing social experiment Westy series has us up to #28

This one is hopped up on @garstonhops Motueka (but not as I know it). This has thrown a curveball and is much danker than I’d expect from the usual zing of Mot.

There is some floral and citrus and a touch of tropics but the hero here is the bitterness. Firm and assertive driving the dank resinous edge. A real rugged, dark side of Motueka……and yep I love it.

Cheers to @dan.del.prete for an awesome package. Huge appreciation mate.
