Friends of the Flight Crew, listen up!📣📣📣

It’s Dan Boyden’s Birthday today!!!

Challenge him to a ping pong match! Buy some local original music in his honor! Make him an absurd amount of brunch food with extra bacon! (and don’t forget the espresso!) Give him an extra squeeze because he’s celebrating his first Birthday as a DAD!!! Throw on Sly’s “In Time” and celebrate all that is @dan_boyden !!!

Swipe to see Dan’s Jim Henson counter part! (This one was a little too easy…)—->

Happy Birthday Dan! Your joy is palpable and we’re lucky to have you on board this crazy flight (on stage and in life) ❤️✈️. Let’s crush this wedding gig today! 🤣

✨THURSDAY NIGHT ✨ (9/24/26) ✨

The Flight Crew has the honor of closing out the Sunset Rooftop concert series at @baysidebowl ! We couldn’t be more excited! (Especially because it won’t be 100 degrees this time around 😅)

This is the last public Flight Crew show until Halloween, so come party with us! We love to close out Summer in style, and there’s no better place to do that than the Bayside Bowl Rooftop. So grab your pals and we’ll see you on the landing pad THURSDAY NIGHT!

Presale tickets are still available but likely not for long!! Get them while you still can!! ✈️

A couple quick cha-cha-cha changes that have come in the last hours leading up to the fest…isn’t my graphics guy so good at making these changes to the assets?!?

First off Embry and Ethan are going to kick us off…so worth getting there for show start (as was Cilla… maybe this is just about keeping it in front of you how good this lineup is and don’t miss the start?!?)

Second: with the good fortune of @dan_boyden and @kesomerville welcoming their daughter Liza to the world two weeks early and not YESTERDAY they’ll be able to attend… calling my set a trip either meant I needed to step off or change the name to band…it was tough but I went with band

And the great @cwins4 will be running sound for the event so we’re all getting a treat there!

See you at 4 y’all!!!

Join us in the Mechanics’ Hall library for a very special concert. Caroline Cotter (@carolinecottermusic) will share songs and stories from her newest album ‘The Answer.’

Caroline will be accompanied by Ben Cosgrove (@bencosgrovemusic)on piano and accordion, Caleb Sweet (@sweet.caleb) on upright bass, and Dan Boyden (@dan_boyden) on drums.

Get your tickets early as space in the library is limited. Visit the link in bio to learn more.

‘The Answer’ is collection of songs written during Caroline’s “End of War Peace Tour;” a year of performances across the US, Germany, Japan, and Italy in 2025, accompanied by her Banner Gibson guitar, which was made by women during World War II. The tour honored the 80th anniversary of the end of WWII, and continued carrying out the guitar’s mission of bringing beauty to a troubled world.

And just like that, TONIGHT (8/31) the Flight Crew closes out another Funky Monday Summer residency.

We want to offer BIG gratitude to @sniffrulez , @skippthejuice , @yeswekin , @megshorette and the entire @liveatmadrids team for their unending hard work and dedication to the local music scene. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms ❤️✈️

Special thanks to @hmc32893 and @riptidephotographyhc for basically being our private photographer this summer and making us all look waaaay cooler than we could ever imagine. All shots featured in this post, she took. HIRE HER. 🔥📸

Lastly, thank YOU, the party people of Portland for coming out and getting down when money is tight, spirits are tired and the world is essentially on fire. You make what we do possible and worth it in every way. 🙏
