There are few better celebrations of beer and wine in Omaha than Brew Haha, which celebrated its 20th year with a bang Friday night!

Not only did guests enjoy fantastic food and drink, but they also supported Habitat Omaha’s goal of providing affordable homeownership to Omahans.

For nearly a decade, KCC Bakery operated out of owner Kelsay Cosgrove’s home. That changed Friday morning, as KCC Bakery celebrated the soft opening of its brick and mortar location in Olde Towne Elkhorn!

The bakery is seriously dedicated to sourdough, selling sourdough bread, bagels, English muffins, and more. And with a physical location, they now have breakfast sandwiches, too!

The grand opening is Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 7 a.m. So start making plans now, because you need to get some of this bread!

Rally on the Route, the largest collaborative block party downtown Omaha has seen, stole the show Saturday.

In an effort to support the local businesses impacted by the ongoing streetcar construction, the block on 16th St between Harney and Farnam was shut down to celebrate downtown Omaha's food, drink, and performing arts. Omaha showed up in droves and had a grand time, proving this city love and supports its local businesses.

Omaha, you might not have known you needed cookie butter banana French toast in your life before today. But now you know, so you need to get to Good Lookin' ASAP.

The bread is soft and sweet, but the cornflake crust gives it a nice crunch. It's finished with decadent cookie butter and a perfectly light, fruity banana cream cheese mousse. There's extra cookie butter and speculoos cookies on the plate for good measure.

We love any meal at Good Lookin', but this might have found a whole new level.

You’ve probably seen Karen Chaka’s work without even realizing it.

For nearly 30 years, the artist behind Neon Jungle has created some of Omaha’s most recognizable neon, from La Casa and The Rose Theater to Homy Inn, Night Owl, Fizzy’s and more.

We went inside her shop to see how she turns glass, heat and a whole lot of precision into signs that have become part of Omaha’s identity.
