Last week we presented Invisible: A New Musical in our Developmental Reading Series. The sci-fi musical comedy has a book by David Hollingsworth and music and lyrics by David Orris. The reading was directed by Marc Kudisch.

The cast featured Isa Antonetti, Giuseppe Bausilio, Henry Beddoe, Brandon Cameron, Jessie Davidson, Jordan Goodsell, Dan Hoy, Mya Rena Hunter, Marina Jansen, Dani Kucera, Alex Raymond Ross, A.J. Shively, and Arif Silverman.

After more than three decades behind the camera, you might think I’ve seen it all.

MASQUERADE 🎭 I am still in disbelief and awe that I got to see @masqueradenyc two months ago on my Broadway trip with @magicwithmelissa 🥹 We both love @phantomoftheopera (the first show I ever saw on Broadway at 13) so it was special to experience this together 🫶🏻

There are no words to fully describe this unique immersive theatrical experience. Imagine a dark ride at Disneyland like Haunted Mansion except it’s a walkthrough of the Opéra Populaire while experiencing The Phantom of the Opera like never before 🕯️ I definitely cried when it was over 🥹

I truly felt like a guest of the masquerade ball and being able to interact with Christine Daaé and other cast members as they guided us through the Opéra Populaire. There were some moments where they were acting/singing mere inches from my face. I really felt like I was a part of the show! Melissa even received a prop (letter from the Phantom himself) 😱

We got to meet some of the cast after the show in the lounge! They were phenomenal 👏🏻

One of the most amazing things to experience is seeing the actors you’ve worked with, that inspired you every moment you shared the stage with them, living out their dreams in NYC! Hopefully I can get all of you all in RagnaRock, Honey & Wine or Crassus soon enough! So grateful to experience these productions with @stacilynv !

Also, I caught that musical featuring the god of Broadway from RagnaRock.
