When training pitchers and other rotational athletes, the baseball is only one variable. Power, speed, and intent come from the system, not the implement.

That’s why when trying to throw a baseball faster, you should train with variety:
• Swinging bats
• Throwing javelins
• Hammer and med ball variations
• Overload & underload tools

Different implements change the constraints → different outputs → better transfer. You’re building force, sequencing, and intent that will hopefully carry over to the mound or field.

Train the rotation.

Good genetics vs hard work, which trumps the other?

The answer does not matter honestly and let me explain why.

You are already born. You are who you are from a genetic perspective.

You cannot go back in time and choose different parents.

What you can change is working your ass off to become the best version of yourself.

“Well I already throw 98 I dont need to train hard”

Cool, congrats. You’ll still have to work your ass off to train your body to be resilient enough to perform at a high level and stay healthy

Training hard isn’t the question

Thank you Driveline Baseball. So incredibly grateful to have gotten the opportunity to train here the past 10 months! The progress I've achieved, the friendships I've made, and, more importantly, the knowledge I've gained is what makes Driveline so special. Thank you to everyone who played a role and created this awesome training atmosphere!
