Still not over last night…✨✨✨

Our first in house production at Hastings Castle, made possible by incredible performances from @jamespurefoyactor and @elliefpwestbrook, wonderful music from musicians, @lucietreacher @bookofvoices @tamarosborn with words from @davidjmusgrove and directed by Cathy Brady. With brilliantly emotive animations from @battlecat.png the tapestry truly came to life.

Thank you so much to our creative and commercial managers @elliefpwestbrook and @vanessafarinha_art who took an impossible brief and made magic happen, creating, writing and producing Beyond the Bayeux in just two months 🤯

Thank you also to our amazing on site and tech team for making sure everything ran as smoothly as it did (we were a full house!). And thank you all who came and supported!

Infinite FXX presents UNION SALON the first two publications in its ongoing zine series! A living archive shaped through encounter, process, and shared time.

For this launch, UNION SALON presents its first two publications with Bevan Agyeman and Dan Demarre Meththananda, created through an intensive 24–72
hour exchange between Artist and Founder Cõvco and a selected artist.

Each zine unfolds through conversation, documentation, and response -transforming shared time into a physical archive. Not simply documentation, these editions become a way of holding what usually escapes capture: memory, gesture, hesitation, atmosphere, and the subtle traces of encounter.

The screening of G:MT sits at the center of this launch as more than a film reference - it acts as a framework for thinking about London at the turn of the millennium, and the social forces that continue to shape it. Set in late-1990s Greenwich, the film follows a group of young friends moving through music, work, grief, and ambition, while revealing how race, class, and geography quietly define who belongs within the city and who is kept at its margins.

G:MT resonanting soundtrack: Moving through jungle, UK garage, acid jazz, South Asian electronic experimentation, trip-hop, and R&B, it captures a moment when Black British, South Asian, and wider migrant communities were not simply existing alongside one another, but actively producing a shared urban culture: through pirate radio, home studios, club spaces, and informal social networks. Sound becomes a form of architecture in itself: shaping the emotional and political landscape of the city and friendships.

UNION SALON is ‘Our house in the middle of the street’ and we invite you to join us for the Launch of the Zines and Exhibition opening on the 22nd May 2026 - 6-9PM with Joint conversation between Bevan Agyeman - Dan Demarre Meththanda and Cõvco - UNION SALON remains open for visiting and experiencing on the 23rd May 2026 from 12-9PM

So fabulous to see Kris Lemsalu and to celebrate her birthday in Paris! Kris and her team made a brilliant art performance for the opening of Réalités estoniennes at Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris where she also showed with two other Estonian artists Olga Terri and Anu Põder. Exhibition rums til 19 July 2026.
