Well, this was a little late summer magic walking in the Canadian Shield forest, flowing through salutations on the dock, playing on and in the water, practicing somatics and yoga in the studios, cocooning in the aerial slings, meditating through the spiral labyrinth, sweating in the sauna, chatting around the dining room tables and the fire, gazing at the sparkling water from the hive deck, entertained and nourished by the talented chef CookieG. Memories forever. The perfect group always comes together. Boundless gratitude to @northernedgealgonquin and @dana__rogers @livlargeeveryday

Aging is a privilege. Aging is a privilege.. I remind myself of that every birthday - I still get to be here - and enjoy all the beauty of life. I had an amazing birthday weekend filled with yoga and the spa and long walks in the sun and all of my favourite foods and so many beautiful people. And so many more awesome messages, calls, and birthday wishes. I got to virtually attend the memorial service of my dear friend Courtenay Dobbie, which was heartwarming, heartbreaking, funny, and sad all in one magical bundle. Right as the service was ending, the sun was setting and it was gorgeous, and I was filled with peace mixed with sadness mixed with reflection mixed with gratitude. Aging is a privilege. Thanks for all the birthday love.❤️
