A little update from one of the many journeys I am on - A little success moment that I am quiet happy about and wanted to share…

I almost gave up on trying to learn this, until that little 3 step tutorial of @danaltman10 cake around some weeks ago - thanx for that!

And I guess thanx to IG, otherwise it would have not been able to get my hands on one of the best tutorials for the #helicopter that I came across so far…

the Journey continues!

-
I quite often get people asking which course they should take, which book to read etc etc

Not meaning to be a dick but the truth is I have no idea what someone else should study or the direction their career should go in.

Personally I have tried to develop my skillset based on what interests me the most and what aligns with me at the deepest layers

First I needed to do years of personal development to even know what interests me, to learn who I am and to discover what the deeper layers even are. Still working on this…

- What am I most passionate about?
- what do I find fun?
- could my work and fun be the same thing?
- what approach will allow me do those things forever?
- How do I fix my own body?
- What am I willing to put more time and effort into than any other human to become a world leader in my field?
- Does this field even exist or can I create it?

Asking these sort of questions has actually led me away from the approach I see many peers undertake.

That approach being to “debunk” or to focus on what doesn’t work. To disprove current practices etc. This is valuable work and needed for the progression of a profession as a whole but it is not my work to do.

I am purely focused on the individual and being specific to that person at that moment

I am focused on what works and then the why. How to get the most out of the human body as a whole unit and the most out of the human driving it. For rehabilitation of serious and multiple injuries as well as achieving peak athletic potential

My questions have led me to seek the people in the world that get the best results

The 1%ers in terms of the results they achieve with real people. Predicable and uncommon results are not a fluke or a placebo no matter how much someone that can’t get those results might try to disregard or diminish them.

I try to find the very best in their specific area and to learn from them. Mostly this comes down to actually doing things yourself to feel and learn.

Then you put yourself into a position to create by synthesising multiple approaches across seemingly separate fields

So this video above is a random assortment of things from some of those mentors 🙏🏽🤙🏽⚡️
