Making Movies is never easy. It takes an army of people working hard, solving impossible problems and believing in the thing you're building. For that I'm very grateful.
Butcher's War is a muscular, character driven action thriller about survival, betrayal, justice and a man trying to find some measure of peace after a lifetime of war.
Beyond thankful for the incredible cast, crew, producers, partners, post production team and everyone who helped bring this one to life.
Thank you 🙏
Big thanks to Samuel Goldwyn Films and Voltage Pictures for believing in us. A big shout to Rebellium Films, Milestone Studios and Seen Entertainment.
I can't wait for audiences to see what we put together.
Butcher's War is coming soon 💪🎥🎬

3 hours notice, so please pardon the lighting and audio. 😅

Honored to have received a last-minute call to cover the Gangland Dallas movie premiere!

It was such a pleasure chatting with Lou Diamond Phillips, Dana Namerode, and James Healy about Gangland. It’s a fantastic film, and I hope everyone gets the chance to see it!

Lou also shared a quick update on his upcoming film, The Ambulance Chaser, which was a fun surprise.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be there. 🤍

During a recent preview screening of Gangland, Lou Diamond Phillips shared these thoughts about the score during the Q&A.

As a composer, hearing someone recognize what you’re trying to accomplish - music that serves the film rather than calling attention to itself - is incredibly rewarding.

He also described it as ‘Insidious’ which is exactly what Vince and I were going for. A feeling of relentless threat that’s just under the surface that could kick off at any time. There are several ethereal moments, but even in those moments, there is a weight and an unease.

Check out the full score on all streaming platforms.

Awesome time at the screening of GANGLAND last night. It has the gritty, street-level intensity that immediately brought to mind elements of Dennis Hopper's COLORS while still being its own thing with a strong emotional core and some genuinely tense moments.

The biggest highlight, though, was finally meeting my friend @jameshealyactor in person. We've been online friends for many years, but this was the first time we'd actually met face-to-face. Seeing him on the big screen and then getting to celebrate that moment together afterward made the night even more special.

It was also a pleasure meeting @officiallou_diamondphillips and @dananamerode who couldn't have been more gracious and engaging before and after the screening. The Q&A moderated by @jamesfaustdallasfilm was fun and insightful, and hearing about the passion behind the film only made me appreciate it more.

Always happy to support indy filmmaking, especially when talented friends are a part of it. If GANGLAND comes to a theater or festival near you, it's well worth checking out.
