HighLights from September 26’ !!

Also… not pictured here👇

The growing pains, the grief and the deeply humbling moments.

I’d like to give a special shout out to the jungle for literally holding me through countless moments on my knees crying and communing with God.

Here for it.

Grateful.

Gracias 🙏🫶🏼

We’re better together.

Wellbeing was never meant to be a solo project. We need people to hold us, challenge us, play with us, and remind us that we belong.

That’s why community is at the heart of everything we do.

Join us on our next weekly adventure and our weekly ecstatic dance here in Nosara, Costa Rica <3

Somos mejores juntos.

August was the perfect mix of deeply meaningful work, family, friends, celebrations and the juiciest restorative time. A sneaky week in Nosara and time with my favourite little humans was the most nourishing. 🤍

It left my heart full and my cup overflowing as we head into this next season…one that already feels so full and so magic. ✨

Culture stays alive when we pass it on.

Our latest podcast guest @victoria.granera might look familiar

A few months ago, she joined us at Biblioteca David Kitson to teach local kids the story of how Nosara got its name, then led a dreamcatcher workshop with the families.

In our latest episode, we explore how art and culture can keep the roots, stories, and wisdom of our ancestors alive.

Maybe It’s Not About Becoming

What if growth isn’t about becoming someone new?

What if it’s about unbecoming everything that was never really you?

When Dana Shalit joined me on Hatrack with Hannah, we talked about finding your way back to yourself, building self-trust, and discovering purpose.

Now, her book Pathways to Self: The Path to Purpose Through the Nine Steps of Self-Realization, is here! 📖✨

Your brain will fight change… even when that change is good for you.

That’s exactly what Dana Shalit and I explored on Hatrack with Hannah in July — why growth feels uncomfortable, how habits shape our lives, and what it really means to reconnect with yourself.

Now, the wisdom from that conversation has become a book. ✨

📚 *Pathways to Self: The Path to Purpose Through the Nine Steps of Self-Realization* is officially available!

If you loved Dana’s episode, this book is your chance to go even deeper into the ideas we discussed: purpose, self-awareness, micro-habits, and finding your authentic path.

Nobody talks about this enough and I think it is one of the most important conversations in entrepreneurship.

What happens when you achieve everything and it is still not enough.

Dana Shalit got real with me about the moment she was at the top of her game and completely empty inside.

🎙️E031: Pathways to Self with Dana Shalit

In this episode of the Rough Draft Podcast, @thesabrinagreer sits down with long-time friend, impact consultant, and author @danashalit to celebrate the release of her highly anticipated book, Pathways to Self: The Path to Purpose Through the Nine Steps of Self-Realization (available today).
Dana demystifies hypnotherapy, explains how she went from being a rigid, logical thinker to embracing the power of the subconscious, and shares why reclaiming “selfishness” is actually the ultimate act of self-preservation. Whether you are feeling burnt out, disconnected from your intuition, or ready to step into your most authentic self, this conversation is a beautiful guide to coming home to who you truly are.

What do you do when you’ve achieved everything you were told would make you happy, but it doesn’t?

Professionally, Dana Shalit thought she had it all: a six-figure income, awards, and accolades. But inside, she felt empty, lost, and anxious. It wasn’t until a friend and psychotherapist asked if she’d be willing to try something unusual—a past life regression—that everything began to change in the best possible way.

What followed was a decade-long journey from glittering galas to the jungles of Costa Rica and the sacred mountains of Peru, deep into the subconscious mind and back. Through past life regression, hypnotherapy, and quiet revelations, Dana discovered what no amount of achievement could give her: herself.

Pathways to Self is both a deeply honest memoir and a practical guide. Across nine steps—from Self-Awareness to Self-Realization—Dana shares the milestones, the breakdowns, and the breakthroughs that reshaped her understanding of success, purpose, and love. Each chapter closes with reflection questions and guided practices so you can walk your own path home to yourself.

This book isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about finally remembering who you’ve always been.
Dana Shalit is an award-winning impact consultant, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. Over a career spanning international sales leadership, training on global stages, and twenty years at the forefront of the charitable sector, she has become a trusted voice on purpose, impact, and what it means to live a life that matters.

A lifelong student of personal development, Dana is also a certified clinical hypnotherapist and host of international retreats, guiding people in moving beyond limiting beliefs and reconnecting with who they truly are.
Now based in Costa Rica, Dana believes that impact begins from within and that living in alignment with your true self is the most powerful contribution you can make to the world.
