Tonight at 6pm! Join us for a town hall about the future of the film industry. Political leaders and hopefuls are gathering with producers, directors, writers, and crew from the studio and the indie side to talk about one thing - bringing more film and TV production back to the LA region.

We’re almost at capacity, but there’s still some room if you want to rsvp to helen@helen4weho.org. We’ll need your rsvp to get you a drive-on to the lot. If you’re press and you haven’t already reached out to me, please do so asap so I can get your press credentials processed for tonight.

Special thanks to our sponsors Kenya Barris, Dan Bree, Ariana Jackson, Christina Fialho, RBEL Agency, and very big thank you to Javista for providing the food and drinks! I also want to thank Danny Hang and Chelsea Byers on the WeHo City Council and our panelists John Erickson, Freddy Puza, Bill Wolkoff, Chris Fisher, Bridget Stokes, Diana Zollicoffer, and Michael Corrie. I can’t wait for everyone to hear your ideas.

And for our audience, come bringing your questions and suggestions for how we can make the LA area and WeHo a more film friendly place for our flagship creative industry. See you soon!

This is an industry town, but I don't think it's any secret that industry is in trouble right now.

That's why we're assembling a town-hall style meeting of political leaders and entertainment professionals for a candid conversation on bringing film production back home. From high budget studio-funded projects to indie co-ops, we're going to talk about all the ways we can keep film production in Southern California.

We need your voice to be part of the discussion! RSVP to helen@helen4weho.org

With runaway production is LA going to become the next Detroit? It doesn’t have to be. The good thing about our industry is that it responds quickly to incentives and changes in law. We just need to make sure political leaders and industry leaders are having the same conversation.

Film Here Work Here will bring together influential leaders from entertainment, government, and business for a townhall dedicated to one goal - keeping production and the thousands of jobs it supports in Los Angeles. This exclusive gathering will feature a candid conversation on the policy changes, local leadership, and industry partnerships needed to make filming in Los Angeles more competitive and ensure our region remains the entertainment capital of the world.

Join us! Featured participants include John Erickson, candidate for State Senate District 24; Helen Krieger, TV writer and candidate for West Hollywood City Council; Freddy Puza, mayor of Culver City; Bill Wolkoff and Chris Fisher (Co-EP and producing director, respectively, from Star Trek: Strange New World) to present an idea that could make LA sound stages a lot more competitive internationally; and representatives from Stay in LA, the grassroots coalition leading the effort to keep production and entertainment jobs in California.

We’ll also hear from the location scouts and managers who deal with the everyday issues trying to film on location all over LA County, we’ll have current WeHo city council members to welcome us to WeHo and talk about what they’re doing to make filming easier, and most importantly, we’ll be taking comments and questions from you about how we can make it easier to bring film and TV back to LA.

The struggle is real, y’all! Donate in the link in bio. And thank you to everyone who’s supported me so far! I never thought I would run for office, but there’s just too much going on to stay on the sidelines.

I finished season one of "Billy and Dom Eat The World" last night. I absolutely loved it! Billy and Dom Eat The World is a charming, fun, and absolutely hilarious travel show featuring our two favorite hobbits.

Dominic Monaghan & Billy Boyd travel around the world, immersing themselves in each countries food and culture. The show can actually be quite informative as well. Monaghan & Boyd are an absolute delight to watch.

Everything is so well done down to the direction,( Daniel Sharp & Dan Bree) cinematography,(Oliver Watts) score,(Mark Summerell) and editing(Matt King, Jamie Ward, and Taylor Gorske). Billy and Dom Eat The World is an absolute blast from beginning to end. I highly recommend this show, and I'm really hoping for a season two.

Building a TV show across 1000 acres and both sides of a mountain is not an easy feat! 🌲 🏔️⛈️🐝🥶

Massive congrats to the hundreds of insanely talented and determined humans involved in the spectacular series production and finale.

The whole season 1 of #EXTRACTED is now airing across all FOX platforms and CTV + Crave in Canada. 🎉🎉🎉

THANK YOU to the PHENOMENAL @netflix OUTLAST S2 production, crew, med staff, security, and experts!

One of my favorite takeaways from being a part of the show is witnessing the precision planning, logistics, waterproofing 😉, dirty, cold, crawling in the mud, injury prone WORK goes into capturing what finally comes out the other end 8 episodes of thrilling entertainment!

Whether teammates or film/production crew, we all went through the struggle and elements together (although some of you got to shower, sleep in a bed and have a glass of wine at night 😉). Friendships are made and bonds forged.

Truly an extraordinary experience!
Thank you CREW! 🙏
Let me know if ow when you’re coming through CO! And please share with others I have missed!
