I FIGURED IT OUT. 🎉

After weeks of wondering what my next career move would be, I’m finally ready to announce it…

🥁 long dramatic pause 🥁

✨ Derek Hough’s Quick Change Manager ✨

Hear me out—I am EXTREMELY qualified.

After years as a dance mom, my résumé includes:
👗 Changing costumes in approximately 7 seconds
🧷 Pinning something while the person wearing it is actively moving
💎 Re-gluing rhinestones under extreme pressure
👯 Knowing exactly which tights go with which costume
🎀 Fixing hair without ruining makeup
👜 Carrying an emergency kit that could solve approximately 94% of the world’s problems
⏱️ Screaming “YOU HAVE 30 SECONDS!” while somehow remaining helpful
🏃‍♀️ Sprinting backstage while holding shoes, earrings, a costume piece and someone else’s water bottle
😅 Remaining mostly calm while everyone around me is panicking

Basically, I’ve been training for this position for YEARS.

@derekhough , if you’re hiring…I’m available. 😂🪩

Although after seeing how fast those quick changes actually happen, I may need a few more years of training. 😳

Until then…apparently I’m still #FiguringItOutWithSara 🤷‍♀️😂

One last adventure before the backpacks come out. ❤️

We packed a whole lot into one weekend—🎣 fishing, 🚠 a gondola ride at Arizona Snowbowl, 🥾 hiking, 🚵‍♀️ mountain biking, 🧗 rock climbing, 🛟 flying down the mountain on the tubing hill, and 🤸 bouncing way higher than I probably should have on the bungee trampoline.

A few months ago, I would’ve been checking emails between activities and counting down the hours until Monday.

This year, I got to be fully present.

I’m still figuring out what this next chapter looks like, but if it means more weekends like this, I think we’re headed in the right direction.

Here’s to one last summer adventure and a great school year ahead. ❤️

What’s one thing your family always tries to squeeze in before school starts?

Sometimes the best plans are the ones you never make. ✨

A last-minute trip to Disneyland with some of our favorite people was exactly what we needed. Lately, I’ve been learning to say “yes” more—to spontaneous adventures, quality time, and making memories instead of waiting for the “perfect” time.

This season of life has been all about figuring out what comes next, and one thing I’m sure of is this: the people you choose to do life with matter more than any plan ever could.

Here’s to chasing joy, embracing the unexpected, and saying yes to the magic. ❤️🏰

🩵 This one is special to us, we met Vaya and her family at @themint400 a couple years ago and they became one of the very first supporters of RACERSHIP. We met as Vaya was lined up on Fremont Street in Las Vegas and I was able to introduce the concept of what I was going to start working on — and ever since that day we have stayed in touch and kept our relationship going.

Vaya is a magical dancer and loves Labubu’s while also rippin’ up the trails in her SXS as she races in the @unltdoffroadracing events and comes out as a champion in her class. As a seasoned racer at 10 years old, we know she will be able to help other racers who are looking to get into the sport and share her experience.

I have watched you grow in your career —and grow up! It’s been fun so far and I truly look forward to continuing our friendship. Go get’m girl!
