Honouring our community, uplifting our youth. ✊🏾✨

For this year’s Black History Month, we’re celebrating the 2026 theme “Honouring Our Communities” by stepping into the spotlight with our own remake of Nadia Rose’s iconic Skwod video! 🎬🔥

This project is all about unity, sisterhood, and giving our young people a platform to showcase their incredible talent, collective pride, and shared cultural identity. True community starts with empowering the next generation.

This is a call out for 14-18 year olds living or studying in Croydon to join Nadia and become part of her Skwod.
Must be available 24 & 25 October from 10-4pm.

BTS of Theatre Dance Lab 2026

So happy to have captured some of the process.

I first started working on the Choreography back in April on any talented being I could find. My dance company @hellothequeens were willing to be guinea pigs, my Monday class at BASE turned into a surprise workshop and I was able to practice on some very talented students from @britschoolmt using @danceatbrit studios.

The rest of the material was created in the room with my brilliant cast, which was two weeks of pure magic ✨

What a special time. 🫀

All Glory to God, thank you for giving me the ability, opportunity, power, wisdom, life force, understanding to go on that stage and make something happen. You are my light, My armour🙏🏾. Thank you.

This has genuinely taken a few days to process. This competition was such an incredible experience, but to win was something else. Im so grateful to be blessed enough to be in this position and to have learnt many great lessons about who I really am. This being a milestone in my journey makes me so incredibly excited for what is to come next, I am everywhere I need to be and with enough hard work I can be anywhere I want to be.

Thank you @platinumperformingarts , where my journey of becoming a performer started out. The place which gave me so many incredible foundations and have supported my growth along the way. @italia.conti helping elevate my technical and performance growth. @danceatbrit where self expression was valued so heavily and I was able to find a true comfort in being myself on stage. @brit_theatre taking me on a long ride to explore the ins and out of what theatre making is really about, giving me the confidence to know how to take space, project my energy and protect my mental. @zoonationuk the incredible hiphop theatre makers who stripped back my dance, solidified my foundational training, supported my dreams, aspirations, and personal choices. My year with @nydcompany x @boyblue_uk where I met so many lovely personalities who uplifted my soul, pushed me harder than I thought I could be pushed, forged the notion of giving grace to myself and others around. My Mothers for being my biggest supporter, fan, promoter, manager, accountant and any other hat you can think of. A jack of all trades❤️. You made me and I can only give back♾️💫.

Thank you @ukyoungdancer and the team for having me, tolerating my terrible email response times, and awarding me with something I’ll carry throughout my career🫶🏾.
