Homecoming 2026 was a tiiime! I hadn’t been back since 2019, but we jumped back into college for 48-hours nonstop. 20 frames just isn’t enough!

Grambling isn’t just where I went to school, it’s home…elementary to college. All I’ve known is Black excellence and legacy. Most of our parents were professors, entrepreneurs or professionals in their fields. We were taught to do ALL the big things. To be of service. To be women of faith. To be socially conscious, classy, and unapologetic about it. My village was STRONG, which is why I pay it forward by being that to young adults now.

3rd generation Gramblinite. 🖤💛

A Different World isn’t just a show, it’s literally our real life. And apparently, we’re still enrolled. 😂🐯🖤💛

Our girls. I used to be able to fit a uniform like this! lol

My dance instructors from college, THE Diane Maroney. She trained under the legendary Alvin Ailey. Which is also how she trained us. She’s 70+.

In white, my dance instructor from elementary school, Virgie Broussard. She’s 80+, taught a dance class the day before, AND danced with us in the stands. 🔥

Latasha and Nicole! They performed with us when they were in elementary school. Clearly full grown women now. Latasha was the captain of the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders. Nicole danced for the New Orleans Pelicans. Proud of ya’ll!

Don’t play with us! lol. Alumni dancers in the building 😎

We returned to support the 100th Anniversary of the World Famed Tiger Marching Band. 🖤💛

Tailgate! IYKYK.

Big sis Carvella! Cali in the building. 🐘🔺🩷💚

Celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Alpha Theta chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated at Grambling State University. Nothing like coming home and seeing Sorors you’ve known from elementary to college. Job well done @nikkiall08 and committee! Happy Diamond anniversary! 🩷💚💎

Seeing my school perform @africanamericandayparade where I live was otherworldly to me especially at times as these! I’m so greatful for the staff and team that allowed me to walk alongside them during the parade as none of this was planned lmao However they recognized a true Gramblinite and the love for my HBCU runs deep within me. I had a wonderful time! Go #gramfam 🫶🏿💪🏿🙌🏿

🌹💧 Serving those who keep Grambling moving! 🎶

The Eta Zeta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity was proud to donate water to the Grambling State University Orchesis Dance Company and the Grambling State University “World Famed” Tiger Marching Band! ❤️

These organizations pour so much time, talent, discipline, and energy into representing our university, so we wanted to pour a little love right back into them. 🫶🏾 From the dance floor to the field, we hope our donation helps keep everyone refreshed and hydrated as they continue working hard and doing what they love.

Supporting the music and performing arts community will always hold a special place in our hearts. 🌹🎼

Grambling State University and the 11th President of the University, Dr Martin Lemelle Jr has launched the Vanguard.. the Presidential Speaker series! Bold, honest and inspirational it promises moments to be remembered, recorded and shared... I had a wonderful time filming my segment but more importantly spending quality time with Dr Lemelle who holds a smart and thoughtful vision not only for Grambling but the entire HBCU community.

If the current gerrymandering is allowed to proceed approximately 74 HBCUs will be sitting in geographies without congressional representation. We know somberly what this means. We know how hard it's been under the existing systems... what's planned, if not thwarted, is unfathomable for our schools, communities and the country at large.

Find a way to support the legacy and future of the nation's historically black universities.
