That’s a wrap on recital week! Zinnia was in 4 dances, and she was FABULOUS! We are so impressed with how much she’s grown in her dancing; what a difference a year makes! We appreciate her teachers for helping her grow in her love for dance and in her skills this past year! My ballet class opened and closed one of the Beauty and the Beast shows, and our jazz class danced a western mix up in two shows. We had such a great time, and it’s fun to see the ways the dances have come together over the last year and how much my dance skills improve with each recital. Julia choreographed some great dances, as always! And, I had such a great time backstage with my dance friends, new and returning! Logan worked as part of the stage crew and also had a great time backstage. It was wonderful having him in the wings watching Zinnia and I in each of our dances. Matilda was also an honorary dancer/backstage crew. It was a lot of long hours and late nights, but she was such a good baby and rolled with the punches. Max, my and Logan’s parents, and some of my friends were excellent audience members. I appreciate and feel the love that comes with sitting through 4 hours of other people’s kids dancing to watch me dance for a few minutes! We love our dance community! Can’t wait for next year!
