Come meet @amandafayyoga 🤍

She’s our newest yoga teacher, and we’re introducing her the best way we know how…with a free yoga nidra session and time to actually chat with us.

If you haven’t tried yoga nidra: it’s a guided practice you do lying down, somewhere between deep rest and sleep. People often leave feeling like they slept for hours.

Stay after and say hi to the rest of the team. We’d love to put faces to names.

✨ Two recital weekends. Countless balloons. Early mornings. Late nights. A whole lot of loading, unloading, setting up, tearing down, and praying everything survived the Charleston heat. ✨

I’m incredibly grateful to have been a small part of celebrating the talented dancers at @dancemoveschs + @dancemovesnexton and helping create spaces where families could capture these milestone moments.
Seeing dancers, families, and friends stop to take photos in front of something we created never gets old.

But the truth is, none of this happens alone.

To my family-❤️

Thank you for supporting every crazy idea, understanding the extra hours away, helping when needed, and always being my biggest cheerleaders. None of this would be possible without you.

And thank you to everyone who has booked, shared, referred, and supported Palmetto Popup. Your encouragement means the world to me.

Now it’s time to catch my breath, enjoy some family time, and get excited for what’s next. ✨

when i was 12 weeks pregnant with twins, i did a gender test but the lab was unable to separate the twins blood sample from one another. they could only separate it from my blood. so the only information they could give me was that at least one of the babies was a boy, but they could not tell me if they were both boys or if only one was a boy. i was convinced after already having two sons i was destined to life as a boy mom. which of course did not mean dance was out of the picture for my children, as i know many beautiful boy dancers. but when i finally heard the words “congratulations it’s a girl” i would be lying if visions of tutus and sparkly feather recital dresses did not enter my mind. i always dreamed of having a little ballerina in my life but i never told her this. and yet each time she enters the stage and she looks for me in the audience, it makes me wonder if her soul has known this all along. 🩰

Adult dancers, this one’s for you ✨

To keep our adult classes running consistently, we do require a minimum number of dancers enrolled. If an adult class only has 2 dancers registered by Noon on the day of class, that evening’s class will be canceled.

Classes that continue to experience low enrollment or repeated cancellations may also be removed from our adult schedule moving forward. We absolutely love offering these classes and want to continue growing our adult program, but we need your support to keep them going 🤍

If there’s a class you’ve been loving, make sure to register early, stay consistent, and invite your friends to dance with you! Your attendance truly makes a difference. ✨
