✨Artist Highlight ~ Dante Casarin✨ 12:00-1:15pm ~ Intermediate/Advanced Hip Hop Choreography Dante Casarin (he/him/his), raised in Orange County, is a first generation Mexican artist. He specializes in hip hop with experience in hip hop forms such as popping, isolations, house, litefeet, and floor work. He has performed and choreographed with a multitude of different programs including Authentic.ity Dance Company, VMO, Outer Class and more. He has danced with choreographers like Aiden Carberry, Azuki Umeda, Danzel Thompson, and MJ Wolff. He has taught in various programs including Epicenter Arts + Entertainment, DanceLova Academy, and Mater Dei High School. In early 2025 I was given a very unique opportunity to be a featured dancer/ensemble for this particular production of Oklahoma! I hadn’t done any stage work in over 8 years so this was a great turning point in my life. The people that I met along this journey have been nothing but wonderful, and made me feel welcomed in the world that I once felt very shunned from. This ignited a spark within to be a performer once again. In short, I had walked away from performing for a long time due to my own personal reasons. While I haven’t been able to perform any other productions as of late, something tells me that that is about to change very soon. Stay tuned… #tapdancer #dancer #performer #oklahoma #tapdance
