To say this show was a dream to be a part of, is truly the understatement of the century.

Mark has been a dream role for me since my love for theatre began. I resonate so deeply with his loyalty to his friends; his chosen family. He’s a creative and chooses to see the world for what it is rather than what they try to sell it to us as. However, he strives to use his art form to show us how the world could be if we embraced every part of ourselves. Even the parts we don’t want the rest of the world to see. This role has taught me so much about loving with your entire being and the importance of standing up for what is right. I will miss him and his camera for the foreseeable future. 🎥

THIS CAST. The overall message of chosen family and the community you build when you let people in is what I took most from this experience. Each and every one of these individuals from cast AND crew brought their 100% for every rehearsal and performance. You always hope that you will experience that close bond with a cast that goes beyond when the curtain closes, and I can wholeheartedly say that I found it with them. The love and care I have for these artists is strong. I thank them, along with our creative team, for trusting me with this role. I could not have performed as well as I did without them lifting me up and supporting me every step of the way. I know this isn’t the last time we share the stage together, and I look forward to the next time.

Lastly, thank you to my friends and family that were able to come see the show. It means more than you will ever know to see your faces in the audience. Without your love and support, I would not be where I am today.

Thank you Rent.

I am so incredibly grateful to have been a part of this beautiful show. I poured so much of myself into Rent and it has given back to me in every way. This was the single best outcome I could have hoped for. I fully believe that our cast, crew and amazing audience was changed for the better throughout this process because I know I was. Playing Mimi has been a huge blessing and I am so grateful for everything she has taught me. I will forever be honored to have gotten the opportunity to be in a show like this. I have found a second family at Camille, thank you all.

There are some shows you perform, and then there are some shows that feel like a privilege to be a part of. Rent is both — and then some. 🤍
I have loved this show for 20 years, and I have been moved by the story behind it ever since. Jonathan Larson took his own experiences, struggles, dreams, and observations of New York and turned them into something that would change musical theatre forever. He wrote about artists trying to survive, people trying to love and be loved, friendship, loss, community, and the very human need to find meaning in the time we’re given.
And the fact that he never got to see what Rent would become—that part stays with me.

Because Rent is ultimately a reminder that we don’t know how much time we have. That our art matters. Our people matter. That we should show up, love fiercely, create boldly, and be present for the lives we’re actually living.

And then there’s this cast. Seriously… this cast. 🤍

I was constantly blown away by the talent, heart, humor, vulnerability, strength, and humanity each person brought into the room. They made me laugh, made me cry, challenged me, inspired me, and reminded me of why I love theatre so much.

There’s something so magical about creating something together, trusting each other enough to be vulnerable, and getting to tell a story that has meant so much to so many people.

I’m incredibly grateful for these people, this experience, and every ridiculous, beautiful, exhausting, hilarious minute of it.
525,600 minutes — and I’m grateful for every one. 🎭❤️

Very eventful month! August marks the month that I passed the hardest semester of my Paramedic school, GOT ENGAGED!, added new members to the family such as my beautiful nephew Elijah, and new cousins Chelsie & Jacob whose beautiful wedding me and my fiance attended in michigan. Thank you god for this opportunity! “I only want to wake up in my dreams”

RGV Players hosted our Launch Party last night! From the start, we have been blown away by the amount of support we have gotten from the community, this party was no different! We are so thankful to all who have supported our mission. Thank you for celebrating with us, and especially (as Jules mentioned) for saying “yes, and…” We can’t do this without you! 🫶
