Orientation Day: COMPLETE. 👑✨

Our girls spent the day getting to know one another, creating content, reviewing paperwork and contracts, learning more about the Miss America Opportunity, practicing their opening number and fitness routine, preparing their talents, and getting a glimpse of everything that lies ahead between now and competition night.

But what made this day even more special was looking around and realizing how many people in our community helped make it possible.
☕ @cafecitoyuma welcomed us and provided the perfect space to create media content for our competition.
🐔 @cfayuma kept our delegates fueled with lunch.
💃 @dancersworkshopyuma continues to give our girls a space to move, learn, practice, and grow.
📸 @athousandsunframes was there capturing the moments that will help tell the story of this season.

And behind it all was a board pouring into these women because we believe wholeheartedly in what can happen when you give someone the space, resources, encouragement, and opportunity to grow.🫂🤍

Orientation wasn’t about finding out who is ready to wear a crown today. It’s about discovering who these women can become by November and who they’ll continue becoming long after. 👑

To our delegates: we are already SO proud of you!!!

and then… IT WAS TIME TO GET TO WORK! 👑✨

After our morning media shoot, we headed to @dancersworkshopyuma for our paperwork submission, info meeting, and first rehearsals! 🩰

We learned our Opening Number & Fitness routines and officially started bringing the competition to life! ✨

A huge thank you to @dancersworkshopyuma for hosting us and providing the perfect space for our day, and to the @missyumacountyscholarshiporg for all of your support in making Orientation such a success!

I am SO excited for everyone to see the show! 🤍✨

.
Orientation for @missyumacountyscholarshiporg is officially complete!! It was truly an incredible day getting to meet the amazing board, as well as all the Miss and Teen delegates for the upcoming competition. This pageant is extra special, not only because it's my first time in the Miss division, but I get to compete alongside my sweet Jamison, someone I've had the joy of watching grow up the past 8 years. It was an incredibly busy and exhausting day, filled with photoshoots, rehearsals, and so much more to help us prepare for the competition in just 41 days!!
.
Huge thank you to the days sponsors, @athousandsunframes @cafecitoyuma @dancersworkshopyuma and @cfayuma for your generosity, we truly could not have done this without your support. Of course thank you to all the board members who took time from their busy schedules to be there for all of us and who have welcomed me back to the pageant world with open arms and endless love.
.
Pageant day is coming faster than I expected, but I couldn't be more excited or prepared to step onto that stage🩵🩵

On October 3rd, he asked us what day it was… and we said Delegate Orientation Day! 💗🐮👑

Our delegates had a VERY busy day of photo + video shoots, titleholder contract review, rehearsals, and preparation for our November 14th competition - and our friends at Chick-fil-A Yuma (@cfayuma) made it a little more delicious (and a LOT more fun! 🐮) by treating our delegates to lunch and surprising them with the one and only Chick-fil-A Cow!

Thank you, Chick-fil-A, for supporting our young women and making such a special contribution to a very full day. We are so grateful for businesses who show up for our delegates and invest in their journey! 🤍

And yes… of COURSE @missyumacountyaz wore pink on October 3rd. 💅🏼💗

As always, thank you to our venue sponsor: @dancersworkshopyuma 🧑‍🩰
