This weekend my little idea became a reality!!! 😁✨🤯🥰🥳🎙️

One for the history books!! When I started Dance to this Podcast I always had the idea of a portable studio on wheels that we could take up and down the country to interview guests in the dance industry and find out their favourite songs to dance to!! We just got back from an incredible 3 day trip to just outside of London where we filmed, slept and melted in our caravan!! And WOW - we shot 6 episodes with the most incredible mix of industry professionals and I just can't wait for you all to hear them!!!

Please come and follow us over at @dancetothispodcast as we continue to grow and bring you the best episodes possible!!! ✨✨

MARCH DANCE RECAP

I taught 7 classes;
4 dance moves at @cafeyogahorsforth
1 lyrical
1 dance freedom
1 private lesson
Attended 7 classes/ workshop/rehearsals
1 commercial burlesque
1 sxxy floorwork both with @velmavogueburlesque covering @auroranova_burlesque
1 divas with @zoefrancescauk
1 musicals
3 commercial all with @jessicafayedance
2 rehearsals with @unite_dance_co
1 workshop with @dancetothispodcast & @alyxsteele
all at @dance_studio_leeds

I also saw 4 live shows; @motionhouse & @phoenixdancetheatre at @leedsplayhouse, @showstopperthemusical at @the_lowry & Wallace & Gromit with live brass band in Bradford, plus a photoshoot!

I can’t believe I’ve managed to fit all this in a month alongside having multiple birthday celebrations every weekend, celebrating our 6 year anniversary & Mother’s Day !!! Seeing this altogether along with the hectic April I have coming up, it makes sense why I’ve felt a little off this week & had to cancel plans in order to hibernate… giving myself some grace for this, trying to remember, nothing is forever & I’ll be back to my “normal” self soon! 🧡

I am still on a high from @moveitshow 2026 🖤🖤 I could've stayed there for about a month (yes I THRIVE in noisy, busy, crazy environments)!!

I met some of my favourite dancers who I can't wait to interview on the pod one day 🤩 and to see so many incredibly talented dancers/insane choreography made me 1. so jealous to not be on the stage!! And 2. so happy that so many people love dance and are choosing it as a career!!

Super proud of me and @jessicafayedance for building the podcast, getting out there and networking in the real World (something that doesn't happen often with an online business) and making the most out of the hours we were there! Whilst also having the best time, taking classes and squeezing in a trip to see Wicked!! ✨

Here's to next year going even bigger and remembering where we started!

Go follow @dancetothispodcast 🎶

Such an incredible weekend at @moveitshow with my bestie @zoefrancescauk and @dancetothispodcast 🙌🏻

Highlights included class with @aprilpcook meeting @katyajones catching up with all the dancers including my college teachers, and of course a little trip to the Emerald City to see @wickeduk 💚💖

I can’t believe it’s been a whole week since this fab workshop!!

@dancetothispodcast & @unite_dance_co brought in the amazing @alyxsteele; an industry professional to give us a commercial masterclass.

I walked away with an abundance of new information & feeling inspired!!

Thanks @zoefrancescauk I look forward to more of these that you facilitate & I can’t wait to hear the podcast episode! 🕺🏻🪩
