I look forward to this day every year and we have so much fun, the day flies by! 💨 thanks for having me and finding value in what I have to offer. It’s so rewarding seeing the students grow as movers and as people over the years 🥰 so proud of everyone 🥹

a love letter to dance with heart studios 💌

to say i’m grateful for my time at this studio would be more than an understatement. i’m forever thankful for everything that you all have provided me with.

i went from watching the “big girls” to being the dancer our little ones watch. although, i didn’t think it would all go by this fast. to those that still have time left at DWHS…cherish every moment. go to class, put in the work, and make your dreams come true. it is all worth it in the end.

to my teachers (both past and present) at DWHS- i love you all so very much. you have each touched my heart in your own special ways. you pushed me to become the best version of myself, both as a human and as a dancer, and for that i am forever grateful. thank you for the countless hours of work you each put into planning, choreographing, teaching, and so much more. there aren’t enough words to express my appreciation.

to my dance moms & prop dads- thank you for always helping out and being the best cheering section ever. i love you all!

and to my teammates- i’m happy to say that you all are my second family. i will cherish the memories we’ve made together at classes, competitions, conventions, sleepovers, photo shoots, and especially during volleyball or begging to go for walks. you can count on me to be cheering you through the rest of your dance careers and even further on through life. getting to dance with all of you on stage has truly been a blessing. while i may not be on stage with you anymore, you will always see my face in the crowd (or hear me😉). i love you all from the bottom of my heart.

thank you @dancewithheartstudios for being my home for 11 years.

always dance with passion, dance with art, dance with fire, & most importantly, dance with heart.

xoxo, sarah

i had the incredible opportunity to choreograph my own solo this year! performing my own choreography on stage was a dream come true and i’m still in awe with how it turned out. a huge thank you to @noveskeya for helping to clean this dance and make it the best it could be.

Ethan is competing for Teen Mr. Dance of America tonight beginning at 8pm! I’ve been trying to get a post up since the weekend but there has been so much to do and very little sleep.😬

We’ve been in Orlando since last Friday so he could participate in a solo preview, audition classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro & Modern, a professional interview, hours of rehearsals and convention classes. Solo Title is not for the faint of heart but the life lessons and personal growth is definitely worth it!!

We are grateful for so many things…Aunt Anya @noveskeya for starting a dance studio and the countless hours she’s devoted to his development as a human and as a dancer. Aunt Cara and Aunt Candace for their dance/life related contributions. All of his family and friends for their support and understanding of the phrase, “we can’t, we have dance”. The countless people who have donated both publicly and privately, his dance family who has been there every step of the way to clap and scream, Ginger Neslund who worked with him for many months to heal his knee and get him back on stage, @dmm_chapter4 for providing this opportunity and so many more.

We are so proud of you Ethan for following your heart! Love you and Merde!

Ethan has really enjoyed catching up with some of his out-of-state friends here at the @dmanational convention, especially anamihalo.official who really helped lift his spirits during his injury last summer.

Please help N raise money as she heads to @dmanational Dance Masters of America Nationals in Orlando to compete with her @dancewithheartstudios teammates, her dance sister @sarahstommen AND support her brother! All of the students attending will also participate in convention classes facilitated by nationally recognized teachers and professional dancers.

Donating is easy! Pick a date to donate and comment below. For example- the 11th is equal to an $11 donation.

100% of funds collected will go directly to pay for N’s trip to Nationals. Donations can be made via the GoFundMe link in my bio or if you prefer cash or check, please contact me via messenger or email.

All contributions are greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
