Hi friends!!!
As some of you already know it’s BUDDY WALK TIME!! I am ecstatic to announce that after a two year hiatus the Buddy Walk will once again take place IN PERSON on October 9th in Wakefield. We started participating in the Buddy Walk while Grace was in utero and it has consistently been one of our favorite days of the year. ANYONE is welcome to join our team or just show up to enjoy the festivities!
This years theme is: Building an Inclusive Future We Can All Believe In.
Wow. I get choked up every time I say those words in sequence. What an amazing task to be a part of.

Building an inclusive future for our GG girl and so many others is a top priority for our family. Not just for people with Down Syndrome but for people of all differing abilities.

The Buddy Walk helps raise funds for an organization near and dear to our hearts, the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress (MDSC). To say the least, this non-profit helps people with Down Syndrome life their best lives. They also help DS families navigate the highs and lows associated with loving a person with DS.

One of my favorite things they do is help equip those with Down Syndrome for the work force and with job placement.

The MDSC has already supported us in countless ways and Grace is only 4! (3.9) We know they will continue to play an integral part in our life for many years to come.

October is also Down Syndrome Awareness month. We have learned so much about Down Syndrome since Grace was diagnosed in utero. She has blessed us and countless others with just her presence alone. She’s a magical being. October is also her birthday month!!! So if you’re the “kill two birds with one stone” type of person, or even if you’re not…. donating to our team MIGHTY MCD’S would be an incredible way to wish Grace a happy birthday!!!

Now for some cute stuff… Grace took her first (very inclusive) Dance class yesterday and unsurprisingly she absolutely crushed it!

So, if you would like to be her CHEERLEADER please TAP the link Located in my BIO.
Thank you so so much for your support! 💙💛. #downsyndrome #inclusion #buddywalk #upsyndrome
