A lovely memory <3

Guam was gifted a core skate shop by @dancheru
This local staple brought community events, lovingly curated gear, a cozy space to hang, and a kind introduction to the world of skateboarding to the youth. On a remote island, it’s difficult to learn about skating in a wholesome manner, and there’s no sweeter teacher than Dan to learn about the best of the best.

While I’m Chamorro, I haven’t had the privilege of visiting Guam as of yet. Becoming pals with Dan has meant so much for many reasons, but especially seeing all of the music, art, skating, and DIY love that he breathes into the community.

Although these graphics were completed after the shop doors closed, it was very heartwarming to create for a place and people near and dear <3 and to honor the native plants within the artwork was a lil cherry on top :))

All love and light to @memoryskateshop
