It was wonderful to meet so many lovely couples, hear all about your wedding plans and help you start bringing your special day to life.

A big thank you too to all of our fantastic wedding suppliers who joined us and helped make the day so special.

It was a wonderful day all round and we can’t wait to see where your wedding plans take you!

What a lovely wedding fair day at @crickladehotelandspa today!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, have a listen and chat to me about their wedding music. I absolutely loved hearing about your plans, the songs that mean sooo much to you and all the little ideas starting to take shape for your day.

And a big shout-out to all the brilliant wedding suppliers I had the pleasure of exhibiting alongside of.

One of my favourite things about wedding fairs is getting to know the people behind the businesses, listening to their experiences and advice, sharing ideas, having a laugh and discovering even more lovely people to recommend to my couples.

A special thank you to Rebecca @audreerose_bridal for capturing and sending me some gorgeous footage too. Clearly someone was paying attention while I was busy giggling!

And to everyone who’s considering booking me…

thank you 🙏

I hope you went home feeling excited about what your wedding music could become.

See you at the next one!

The @trowbridgechamber was thrilled to host its “Summer Drinks Party and Flower Festival Awards Presentation” on Friday.

Over 30 businesses took part in our annual Trowbridge Flower Festival Trail, designed to create a floral safari throughout the town and increase visitor footfall.

It was a wonderful community event on a beautiful Summer evening and we decorated the hall to create a whimsical cottage garden on stage from which to present the trophies and awards.

There were Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards, and the winning trophies went to:

-Most Innovative Display: Wiltshire Kitchens & Appliances for their floral washing machine.

- Most Impactful Display:
Peppers Hair & Beauty for their vibrant and colourful wheelbarrows and mannequin.

- Best Window Display:
Nature’s Sanctuary Trowbridge for their thoughtful and healing floral and herbal window display.

- Best Permanent Garden:
The Textile Garden for its unique planting.

- Best Charity Window:
Wiltshire Sight for its colourful floral displays.

Community Award:
Castle Place shopping centre for their creative business collaboration to create a colourful floral experience through the centre.

Many thanks to our judges Jennifer Polledri, Partnership Director of the Trowbridge Chamber and former Chair of Trowbridge in Bloom; Cllr Mel Jacob, Leader of Trowbridge Town Council’ Ron Lomas, Trowbridge Gardeners Volunteer, and Chris Wilde, Manager of Trowbridge Garden Centre.

We would also like to thank Trowbridge Mayor Cllr Stewart Palmen and Katy Tovey of Monahans for presenting Trophies. A very special thanks to Megan Witty, Membership and Events Director of The Trowbridge Chamber for her incredible organisation of the Flower Festival and Awards, and to Trowbridge Garden Centre for the loan of the plants.

Our next major event is the West Wiltshire Business Expo which offers excellent promotional and networking opportunities for Wiltshire SMEs. @theoldtownhall.trowbridge celebrated International Women’s Day with craft, dance and film. From morning to evening, we were treated to a bellydance workshop, live music and a screening of the wonderful documentary film ’Sisters with Transistors’, which follows the rule of women in the development of electronic music.

Alongside the activities, I was grateful to display my project ‘How do I spell feminism?’ in an exhibition with @mightygirls_2016, highlighting how women & girls can amplify their voices through protest. Exhibiting at Trowbridge Town Hall was particularly meaningful as, three years earlier, this was where I completed my first industry work experience. It was a full circle moment that truly showed me how far I’ve come as an artist, and I can only hope to grow my practice both far from and close to home.

Having recently announced the save the date for this years International Women's Day event, we've been taking a look back at previous years. . .

In 2025 we hosted a sold out event at Emmanuel's Yard, while our building was closed for refurbishment. The event included:

📸 Portraits taken by local photographer Anna Chrystal Stephens, used to create our Trowbridge Community Photograph. . .

🍽 Delicious Lebanese cuisine from chef Wafaa Powell. . .

☕ Refreshments from Storehouse Café. . .

✨ A photographic exhibit from photographer Abbie Assadi, focused on women in business. . .

🎬 And the screening of ‘Tish’, a documentary which shines the light on photographer Tish Murtha, programmed by film curator Lorena Pino Montilla .

We're incredibly excited for this years event. Be sure to save the date, Saturday 7 March 2026, and keep an eye on this space as more details will be announced soon 💜
