The fabulous day of Lucy and Simon, one slightly wild, totally brilliant September day, last year.  Lucy’s gorgeous grin sums it all up perfectly really, so so SO much fun, slightly bonkers and utterly utterly beautiful.  Cheers to you, you beautiful people.  @joemathersphotography @studioyard  @karenrhodes  @ashleighmossop  @teamobridal @chasingrainbows @dancinginthedark @thelinenhire  #Weddingbreakfastinspo #modernbride #creativeweddingflowers #lakedistrictwedding #lakedistrictweddingsuppliers

A couple of weeks ago, Leah & Greg married at the Inn on the Lake for their late summer wedding overlooking Ullswater. The day started with an outdoor ceremony in the gardens, with the setting adorned with flowers from Seed & Wild. Their celebrant Lara reflected on their story, surrounded by the Lakeland fells. A nice surprise followed, with bagpipes leading the couple back down the aisle - a fitting nod to Greg’s late grandfather. Later, Spencer Sax got the party started, with the dance floor filling up and the celebrations carrying on well into the night. Happy 1st of October! Goodness me, how did it get to October? It's officially time to whip the fire on and cosy up in a big old knit and we are ready for it! To celebrate the start of the cosy season, here's one incredibly beautiful wedding from last October. The wonderfully personalised, gorgeous day of Rosanna and Daniel. The flowers, the colours, the food, the styling it was all just so beautiful and they even had a falconry display and a little Crummock Water adventure just before dark. Bring on October weddings and all of the autumnal gorgeousness! Scott & Nichola’s summer wedding at Lodore falls in the heart of the Lake District. One of the hottest days of the year made for a beautiful garden ceremony, with Derwentwater and the Lakeland fells stretching out beyond the venue. Afterwards drinks and canapés, we made our way down to the lake for a few photographs before heading up to Surprise View for sunset. The evening light across valley was the perfect way to round off the day. A beautiful setting, an incredible summer evening and a brilliant couple to photograph. A beautiful summer celebration for Carla & Conor at Inn on the Lake. With the gardens of Ullswater as their backdrop, they exchanged heartfelt vows overlooking the lake before celebrating with their closest family and friends. An incredible day from an evening aboard the steamer on Ullswater as the light softened across the fells to quick trip to the Kirkstone Pass. Carla & Conor, what a pleasure it was to be there to capture it all. // CONGRATULATIONS // David & Sally… What a lovely day at the always gorgeous Eden Barn. - After a stunning sunny morning and a beautiful ceremony, we nipped off to some gardens just two minutes down the road, owned by a close family member… and wow! 😍 What a hidden gem. - The rest of the day was exactly how a wedding should be… relaxed, loads of laughs, plenty of good people and just enjoying every minute of it. - Another full day of photo + film coverage for me. David & Sally, it was a pleasure. Couple photos don’t have to be a big production. We normally just steal you away for a little wander at some point, take a few photos and get you back to everyone. It also happens to be quite a nice excuse to have ten minutes away from the madness together. This one was from @ntayl90 & @ptayl90 ‘s wedding at one of our fave venues - @innonthelakeweddings Suppliers: Make up - @betsymakeupacademy Hair - @bridalhairbysamgateley Dress - @avarosehamilton Venue stylist - @thememoryknotco Florist - @sprigsandberries Cake - @lemontreebakeryuk Mind reader - @mkmindreader DJ - @dancinginthedarkdj
