A few weeks ago, we shared a post celebrating bold, colourful, playful and experimental makeup, challenging the outdated idea that beauty must always become more subtle, restrained or pared back as we get older.

It clearly struck a chord. So many of you told us it inspired you, and even more wonderfully, so many of you shared your own incredible looks with us

This is exactly what we love about this community. You don’t just join the conversation, you actively become part of the movement. Seeing - and being part of - your creativity, confidence and self-expression is such a privilege, and one of the greatest joys of what we do.

So we’re back with even more inspiration, this time featuring some of your wonderful photos alongside even more looks from the wider movement.

Some of these looks were created for festivals, nights out, holidays or special occasions. Others for fashion shows and photoshoots. And some simply because experimenting with colour, sparkle and creativity brings joy. And isn’t that reason enough?!

Just remember: experimental makeup can be whatever you want it to be, and never has an age limit. Whether it’s glitter, bold eyeliner, gems, metallics or trying something completely new.

The best part? If it makes you feel fabulous and gives you confidence, that’s all that matters. And if it doesn’t quite feel right, you can simply take it off and try something else!
