THIS SUNDAY, I give you ALONE, NOW.

On the surface, this is a film about grief.

But underneath it all, ALONE, NOW is a love story.

Not romantic love. That once-in-a-lifetime kind of love. The love that knew you before the world did. The love that made you feel safe enough to be a person. The love you never had to earn, explain, or question.

And the terrifying thing about a love like that is knowing that when it’s gone…it’s gone.

You can be loved again. You can build a beautiful life. You can laugh again, celebrate again, even find happiness again.

But THAT love?

There is no replacement for it.

ALONE, NOW follows a man returning home after burying his mother and confronting what it means to exist in a world where the person who loved him like no one else ever could is no longer in it.

For everyone who has ever lost their mother.
For everyone who has walked into a familiar room and realized it will never feel the same again.
For everyone who understands that sometimes we aren’t only mourning a person—we’re mourning **who we got to be when they were here.
