Before y’all start, NO, I’m not pregnant! 😂 (at least I don't think I am 😬)

Zen has been drawing pictures of a baby sister she doesn’t have and asking me DAILY when she’s getting one. Y’all, she even wished for a baby sister for her birthday! 😭😂

And I’m not gonna hold you, the mom guilt is REAL.

Coming from 11 sisters, I want her to experience that bond too. But having another child is a BIG decision.

After experiencing a miscarriage, I know that just because we make plans doesn’t mean we control the outcome.

I trust God’s timing, but babyyyy, that biological clock is still ticking. 😩

And even as a therapist, I’m reminding myself that two things can be true.

I can want another baby and still not feel ready.

Mom to mom, anybody else navigating this season, or is it just me? 🥹❤️

This conversation is open to any parent, but sometimes mom guilt feels a bit different

As a therapist, I’m big on creating intentional memories.

Children may not remember every gift, every decoration, or every detail but they remember how childhood felt.

Feeling seen.
Feeling heard.
Feeling celebrated.
Feeling known.

Ask them their favorite things. What makes them happy? What they want to be when they grow up? What they love about themselves right now?

Because one day their voice will change, their answers will change, and they’ll grow into a whole new version of themselves.

Record the little moments too. 🤍

One day, you’ll be so grateful you captured exactly who they were in this season.

The one post I make a year that’s isn’t about work 😅 This was 34…. Extremely blessed and thankful to be able to live the life I do with family and friends that I love. Excited to see what 35 has in store for me!!
