🦅 SUPER LAB — DAY 2 OF 2 🦅 Day 2. No shortcuts. No excuses. Just training. Southern Miss Army ROTC wrapped up Super Lab with a demanding day of land navigation and leadership training. Cadets began with night land navigation, transitioning directly into day land navigation, putting their navigation skills, decision-making, and teamwork to the test. 🌙🧭☀️ Cadets then took on Leader Reaction Course (LRC) lanes designed to challenge communication, problem-solving, and leadership under pressure. A huge thank you to the Louisiana National Guard, 4-323rd Regiment, Foxtrot Company Drill Sergeants for assisting with our LRC training, CST, and land navigation. Helping provide our cadets with realistic, challenging leadership opportunities. Two days. Countless challenges. One team. TRAIN HARD. LEAD FROM THE FRONT. 🦅 #SouthernMissROTC #SuperLab #LandNavigation #ArmyROTC #EaglesLeadTheWay

Cadets conducted EST, took on the Obstacle Course, and finished the day by establishing a Patrol Base under the cover of darkness. 🌙💪 A huge thank you to Camp Shelby for providing the training facilities for EST, and to TA Charlie for providing the Patrol Base and Obstacle Course training areas. Your continued support helps us provide our cadets with realistic, hands-on training that prepares them for the challenges ahead. One more day. One more opportunity to train. 🔥 OPFOR: THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FIGHT 🔥 Every good training scenario needs a force willing to make the mission difficult. During our Movement to Contact Lab, our OPFOR brought the aggression, the pressure, and a little bit of personality. 😎💪 From getting posted to checking the time to flexing for the camera—these Cadets were ready to make the opposing force feel a little too real. 🎯 Train hard. Adapt. Overcome. Because you never know what’s waiting on the other side of the objective. 🫡 #USMArmyROTC #MovementToContact #OPFOR #LeadFromTheFront #HOOAH

🌧️🔥 LAB 3: MOVEMENT TO CONTACT 🔥🌧️ RAIN. MUD. NO EXCUSES. 🦅🇺🇸 The third ROTC Lab put our cadets to the test with Movement to Contact training rooted in Army infantry doctrine. From tactical movement and communication to leadership and small-unit teamwork, cadets were challenged to perform under pressure, adapt to the conditions, and keep moving toward the objective. And when the rain came down? WE KEPT MOVING. 💪 Because the mission doesn’t stop when the weather gets bad—and neither do we. EMBRACE THE SUCK. STAY IN THE FIGHT. ACCOMPLISH THE MISSION. That’s how we TRAIN TO LEAD. 🇺🇸 🦅 SOUTHERN MISS ARMY ROTC GOLDEN EAGLES! #USMROTC #ArmyROTC #CadetTraining #MovementToContact #traintolead
